Ok...take a deep breath: 1) Offseason IS NOT OVER 2) Rockets were youngest of the contenders last season, seeded #4 in the tough west. Only going to get better as the team gels more. Thats a + 3) Morey is great at finding diamonds in the rough (see: past 2nd round picks, D-league players, Daniels, Beverly, TJones, etc) 4) Top C and TOP SG in the league. They are almost there with just a few improvements. 5) Could always improve the Coach! (wishful thinking...but why not?) The only thing that has me worried is the trade of Asik...maybe they can get Ryan Anderson back or something. I don't think the sky is falling, Rockets are going to be as good as any next year. This team WILL compete for the championship as is.
Wish I shared your optimism, but between the Rox playoff fail this past season, the developments this off season, and still having an idiot as our head coach....its just hard for me to be optimistic...
