I think it will definitely hurt this team. Not only was it a horrible trade, but Scola and Martin are very naturally good locker room guys. Collectively, both players bring more to the table than Gasol. How do build team chemistry with 32 transactions in two years

itted that Paul Gasol did not want to come to Houston anyways. I think Morey in one desperate move to land a "star" might have messed with the one good thing this team had Chemistry. Rockets need to trade but get younger not a player that is 30 soft and does not want to play here. Rockets can only improve through draft and drafting high, so they should not try to trade for older players in hopes of making the playoffs and still get blasted in the first round.
Nene is injury prone, Dalembert has some D but no O and Chandler is is injury prone, a little soft and only wants to get paid now that he has a ring. So Morey stop collecting so many priceless assets, your favorite word and try not to finish one game shy of the 8th spot because that only gets you pick 14 again.

Scola and Martin are FAR from being mediocre. If it's anyone who is mediocre it's Pau Gasol...thank god this trade fell apart
