I still support Morey but I'm starting to have my doubts, serious doubts, that his philosophy can attract and keep the personnel we need to become champions. I think he doesn't understand that while a business, bball is personal for fans/players/coaches. It's a people business and people are not robots.

I'll give him time but whereas once I think we had a GM of the future, right now, I'm starting to think of other GMs that could do better.

I seriously doubt that the other GMs feel that DM is significantly better than they are.

If they do, though, it was very clever of Morey to take T-Will and Thabeet this year. Those deals should start to lull them into a false sense of security.

If you look at Thabeet's salary, most GMs would probably consider having him a bad thing. And T-Will... lots of hoots from GMs over that one.

And yes, I am a Morey fan.

I have very little doubt that Morey can quote movie lines from Tron.

Without Thabeet and Miller it would be very difficult to make a big trade next deadline without giving up a major piece.

They arent worth thier paycheck, but they are crucial to have if we are to make a big trade next year while keeping any semblence of a team intact.
