Morey is truly awful. There's a reason you never hear any reports of other teams trying to hire him away from the Rockets.
He isn't perfect but results speak for themselves. However, by far the best GM works for GS. He has financially manipulated into multiple max contracts. I still don't understand how he did it.
I don't agree with "By far", he has three things working for him: * Bird rights * Sell outs * Leeches None of these acquisitions were amazing, they were grown through the draft, which is impressive in its own right, but they stopped being impressive on July 4, 2016 with the arrival of the NBA's biggest glory w****. Any success they've had the past two years can't be attributed to anyone other than Kevin Durant's desire to avoid hard work. I'd say the better executive is the one that was ridiculed for wanting to compete with those guys, and widely mocked for pairing two point-guards which "could never work because there's only one ball" --- then took the over-stacked sell-out team to the brink of elimination and lost due to injuries.
He may be the best GM due to his drafting prowess, but he only has one true max contract. KD and Draymond took paycuts and Curry just happened to be injured a lot before his first contract extension. They got extremely lucky in a lot of ways.
History is all bull $hit. We do not have any good rookie contracts.I am very worried about, A: What is our chance to win Championship next 2 years? B: how can we beat Celtics from 2020 to 2025? C. How many young talents we are going to get next 2 years?
its been well discussed how much the cap rise at the right time benefited that team thats why all the questions come out when guys like Dray and Klay contracts are up to benefit from it. well see what happens
Celtics have 2019 first round picks from 3 bad teams Kings Grizzlies Clippers Where are our future assets?
Ryan Anderson expiring contract.... coming soon! I think Tilman will become the first ever owner to buy the 1st pick of the draft. Cash upfront. 20 mill.
