Half our salary hasn't been "participating" since last year, so why is that even a factor this year when we know that half our salary isn't "participating" this year, so why use the excuse? We got our asses handed to us on a plate, plain and simple. And if you took D and Oneal away they'd around where NJ is now.
I used it as an excuse because the original post I was replying to said why DWade would come here after defeating us by 33 points the other night. I'm sure he knows we're better than that.

i can almost guarantee you that we won't see wade wearing rocket red anytime soon, nor bosh, nor lebron, nor any top FA's. the only way that we'll get better is if Yao recovers fully, we get a good backup C to minimize Yao's PT, and we get a few more perimeter players who can fill it up. i'm skeptical as much as the next guy about Butler, but he was often the best player on the team that consisted of jamison and arenas. that tells me that he's got game. he's not the best shooter but better than what we've got. if they want budinger, i want miller or foye or both included.

To even have a remote chance of this being only a punch-drunk wet dream, the Iggy trade would need legs, and we'd have to add, say, Brooks with Iggy, and even then..... Maybe Wade is just trying to scare the bejesus out of Riley into making a move. Or maybe the Bulls contacted Wade's agent on the sly. If we had ANYthing to do with Wade leaving Miami, it would involve us making a trade with Da Bulls, taking Salmons and maybe TThomas etc etc. Then Wade would go to Chicago not Houston.
Anyone with common sense knows he's going to chicago with rose,noah,and deng which makes more sense anyway u look. Why come with a injury prone big like yao when he can go home and play with one of the better young pg, and very good sf,a rebound machine, and still have money left for another player playing in front of 20000 every night?
Honestly, however small the chance that we actually land D.Wade is, it's still a million times greater than the chance you ever land Megan Fox. Lol.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't Miami have the full 22 million coming off their books if they made this trade? Since when Wade walks they will have nothing to draw fans they might take the cap relief now if that is the case.
