    He needs to hit the gym because he is always getting pushed around but he does have potential.

    The guy is a machine when it comes to filling up the boxcore. Points, boards, blocks and so on. But whats the pont? Dude cant last more than 20 mins on the court , he makes way too may errors. I hope he can improve cause he is exciting to watch.

    He is only playing because he is on the Wiz and and only other option is Armstrong. I doubt if he would see consistant minutes on a playoff team.

    BTW: Is anyone watching him play now?

    Agreed! I live in the DC area and I'm a Wizards season ticket holder. I believe Javale McGee will be a future defensive player of the year. He is a great shotblocker & rebounder. Javale will be a BETTER Marcus Camby/Tyson Chandler in a year or two once he learns the game a bit more. He is 7-0, 250 while Camby is 6-11, 235.

    Tonight Javale had 12pts 13rbs 6blks. I would trade Jordan Hill (and other assets) for Mcgee in a heartbeat and further develop his basketball IQ. Look how far Hill has come under our coaching staff compared to the Knicks.

    McGee strikes me as someone who doesn't know just how dangerous he is to himself and to others around him. I don't really have a problem in the Rockets going after him as I think the coaching staff and our veteran players will set him straight, but if we do get him I'm giving him the nickname box o' rox.

    Washington must have really had a stupid team before they traded Gilbert Arenas.

    No, thanks. Ajinca is a waste of space. He's the poster child for "workout warriors" who were drafted way too high despite never proving anything in actual games. I was laughing when the Bobcats traded a future first to get this guy at #20 when he came out.

    Have I mentioned that I don't think much of this guy?

    A couple of points about McGee
    * Low bball IQ
    * Low Offensive Skills
    * Goes for pump fakes or any fakes all day long
    * Rebounds well
    * Very Good ShotBlocker
    * Carrol Dawson has a lot of work in front of him
    * Has a lot of go get it. Much more than Jordan

    Kind of sounds like Hakeem when he first arrived in the US.

    The big difference is that Hakeem had Moses Malone, Carroll Dawson, Guy Lewis, and Fonde in the summer to learn and get better. Not sure Javale is ready to put in the work like Dream. In addition, Dream also had 3 years of Phi Slamma Jamma to improve.

    Kobe takes to many stupid shots. DO NOT WANT. LeBron is a cry baby and selfish. DO NOT WANT. Dwight Howard fouls to much.DO NOT WANT. You guys are stupid to think every player must/is perfect and if they aren't then the Rockets are to good for them. McGee is no where near the players mentioned above, but the moral of th story is you want players who do somethings GREAT. McGee blocks shots and rebounds. What do the Rockets need? Oh yeah a good rebounder and shot blocker.
