Him being out certainly hurts, as does Yao, Ariza, and a new 33% roster.

I may be the only one, but can we please move on from the "Should Lowry or Brooks start (either this year or next year with Yao)?"

I'm pretty sure given whatever we currently know everyone on this board has not only beaten this horse. they have castrated it, hung it, drawn it, quartered it, flayed it, and burned its entrails.

At this current point, Lowry is injured. So Brooks has to start.

When Lowry comes back, I'm sure there will be situations where both play PG with Martin and we the fans will better be able to see who we will pander to. I'm also sure the coaches will have them both practice with Martin to see what works.

Then, no one knows what this summer will turn out...
    Will we make a trade?
Who will we draft (1st round or maybe buy another 2nd round)?
Will we bring in Sergio Lull?
Will something happen that causes us not to resign Lowry? (Devil's advocate, but things do happen)

Then will come an entire summer work-out and training camp for Lowry, Brooks, Martin, Yao, or whomever else to get comfortable with each other and the system and for the coaches to see what works and what does not.

This debate is just seems to be infecting every thread in the GARM and frankly I do not think anyone can add anything that has not already been discussed about it right now.

So please just chill out and move on.

What??? I thought you said Ariza was worthless!

j/d DD, I know you didn't said that exact word, but you and Dave78 have been riding him pretty hard this whole season. Dave78 is coming around, though.

ps. Ariza is a very good player IF he does NOT shoot too many three-pointers.

I think Ariza is the weakest link, but I also realize he is being asked to be WAY more than he is capable of being.

I would not mind him or Shane traded though....I think Kmart and Budinger are both better players.

There is no way that we can keep both. Battriza have no business being in the starting lineup. Battier, I think, may have played his last games as a Rockets, said to say. I can't help but think we are trying to get younger, Ariza only signed because he knew that long term, he would be Battier's replacement. We might do a sign and trade in the offseason centered around Scola and Battier for a stretch four who can help Yao out.
    My top choices are:
    1. Bosh
    2.Amare
    3.Murphy
    4.A. Randolph
    5.Boozer
    6.Lee

Correction, it's Ariza who is coming around. He has been a more disciplined player IMO. I never want to hate on any Rockets player and won't as long as they play smart, play hard and have a positive attitude (or at least pretend to).

Its amazing how much better Trevor looks when the ball is taken out of his hands. He really is a solid complimentary piece, but he has no business "creating" on the offensive end.

I like what Trevor is going to bring when/if the team has a solid center. His defensive length and ability to get into the passing lanes will look much better when there is a Yao backing him up if he doesn't get the steal.

One thing I can't fault Trevor on this year is his effort, his on court demeanor has been piss poor at times, but he has worked his tail off while on the court this season.
