If this is Morey's real plan for the future of this ball club, I feel sad for all the fans and this club.

The Rockets combination of talent and hard work are below the Mavericks.

Sorry, Leebigez. Mavericks have been at 98% to the way to the ring, almost every year. If rings were given for moral victories, the Mavericks would get it.

If you are big Mavs fan, I'm sorry. They don't have the combination of talent and hustle/effort/hardwork, whatever you want to call it.

The Spurs have talent, but they have a bunch of hustle and hardwork. Every player giving 100% defensive effort and hustling for every posession. Yes, the Mavericks have a more talented team, but talent will lose to talent and hard work every year. They have already proven that. The Miami Heat got a ring with Shaq and Dwade, but the rest of the roster wasn't as talented as the Suns and Mavericks from the bench to the starting line up. They had the total combination of talent and hardwork.

Having a whole load of hardworkers(Rockets-moneyball players like Battier, Hayes, Landry, Brooks)
    = no ring

Having whole load of talent and not enough defense/hustle/hardwork(Mavericks, Suns)
    =no ring

The total package of talent and hardwork, going for every possession and stop(Lakers/Spurs/Heat(before Shaq lost his motivation/Celtics)
    =rings

Dirk, Kidd, and Nash are future hall of famers, but Ginobili, Parker, Ben Wallace, and Hamilton are all champions.

If the Mavericks and Suns are going to ever get a ring, they need to work on defense, which is just effort and hard work.

I heard somebody say one time that "Almost winning the ring is like being almost pregnant. In both cases, you missed the jackpot." :D

Moral victories may count for something, but it isn't recorded in history books.

I wish you and the Mavericks, luck, this season.

lol what makes you say that? The main reason Randolph's game is ugly is 'cause he doesn't pass the ball or play defense. His scoring and rebounding is ok, Randolph is somewhat of a legit low post scorer and rebounder.

If Scola could rebound and score as well as Randolph he'd be an all-star caliber player right now.

thanks for the transcript, Mr. Dakota.

H2: Does Rick Adelman look British like he does to us....looks like he is on Monty Python...

DM: Really? You wait to ask this question now?

i totally ROFL big time when i read this. RA does look like the Perfect English Gentleman!! LOL!!

but its true, making 15 out of 18 playoffs just tells you what a great coach he is. that basically means he has a 83.3333% chance of guiding this seasons Rockets team to the playoffs.

note: bet y'all by 20 games lotsa people here will be giving negative comments about him, calling him to be fired, etc. to those who are going to do that when the time comes, i only have one sentence to counter that : "Never mess with the Perfct English Gentleman". Excuse me while i go watch some Monty Phyton.....
