The problem Harden is not a strong personality, he is the strongest or best player but not with an Alpha mindset. He rather sits back and decide for himself behind everyone's back, avoiding confrontation. We could argue about it though. Chris Paul is the one that is the dude that will address issues directly while Harden is the passive agressive one, we have seen it with Brooklyn. He is a bball teacher, there is nothing he can teach Harden, or Harden is not even listening, body language is trying to distance himself. Spoiler

Doesn’t matter if it was his worst season or not. He even played great in his rockets last game vs Gs. And even with that season, he was still better than the sorry player they traded him for. Is he the only player? Nope. There were far more issues bigger than cp3 that needed to be addressed and never did he didn’t cost the rockets anything. He gave the rockets a better shot period. There’s a reason why they got closer than they ever have. And they won’t get nearly as close for a very long time thanks to the worst owner in the league and folks who want to believe he changed it up after he was traded are flat out wrong. I’ve said it from the beginning that he did what he was doing now prior to what he thought was going to be the rockets 3rd season. He mentioned this on several interviews and podcasts when asked about the trade. Casuals just want to assume once again

I’m more so talking Ego. Harden’s ego is as big as CP3’s which is where the problem lied. You actually think James and Chris never had confrontation? Cmon man. Harden & CP3 have been playing top level NBA basketball for a looong time & have been successful. Neither guy had to take a back seat to the other’s career but they had to work together and couldn’t do it. Ego wouldn’t allow it but together they were damn good. I would love to see a Philadelphia vs Phoenix finals tho.
