After the trade we are pretty thin at the 4\5 spots, unless we plan on playing two players who could barely get playing time on a crappy kings team in Kenny Thomas and Hilton Armstrong. After Chuck and Scola, which is already pretty iffy, we will have Anderson, Cook and the two ex-kings as the potential backups. If morey doesn't have any more trades up his sleeve, then we will by far have the worst frontline in the league for the rest of the year. I can't see Morey making this deal unless he had some sort of plan to replace Landry and Dorsey, unless having no frontline in order to tank is the plan.

I think this gives Morey the time to pull some minor trades. Something similar to the Lowry trade last year.

I think two of our wings will be moved tomorrow. Battier/Chase maybe? I don't know, but something like that could net a pretty good power forward.

I am so sad about losing my favorite player. It makes me feel something HAS to be coming tomorrow though. I would hope for Bosh, but would we even have the money to get him re-signed if we somehow pulled a trade for him.

The fact that Morey was willing to give up Carl makes me think he has something else up his sleeve.

McGrady, Kenny Thomas, and Sergio Rodriguez to NY.

    Landry, Hughes to Sacramento.

Battier, Cook, Hill, and 2 first round picks to Minny.

Kevin Martin, Al Jefferson, Jared Jeffries, and rights to Rubio to Houston.

    Martin, Armstrong, Hughes to Houston
Dorsey, Hill, Jeffries, Cook to Sacramento plus NY's picks, Houston pick
    McGrady, Rodriguez to NY

    We keep Landry.

Sacramento gets Hill and NY's picks (for taking Jeffries) and a Houston pick.

    NY gets McGrady/Sergio.

I really could use some sleep tonight, since I only had about 3 hours worth last night. BUT DAMN this ruined my chance at sleep for now. I just didn't think we'd lose any role player outside Budinger/Andersen/Battier/Ariza. Losing Landry comes as a huge shock.

I hope you realize the only reason why Sac did it was to get Landry.

Why is everyone saying we need to have a big man? Hilton Armstrong is very underrated and was misused in New Orleans and Sac-Town! He will suprise you all just like Lowry did! Morey aint stupid, he has a knack for finding a needle in a haystack!

If you add Budinger, Minnesota MIGHT do that.

Ill buy land in Waco, stockpile weapons, get a couple wives, and start a Cult in Morey's name.
