there are probably still enough poor chinese that its really not a situation like usa/mexico. as we all know, the reason immigration from mexico is not really policed like it probably should is for the cheap labor.

secondly, mexicans are immigrating for political reasons

i'm assuming there are still a lot of poor chinese citizens

You would be right, there are still lots of poor Chinese, but the poor Chinese are way way better off than most of the north Koreans who are starving! Cannot blame them for wanting to escape, but I do not think China has the obligation to take them.

if the south koreans don't want them, why should we? maybe US should take these refugees. but they'll number in millions. they gotta solve their own problem. no one can take care millions of people like that.

We should trade with them. All sanctions do is prop up the dictator and give him a scapegoat. We can help the North Korean people and open up markets to US business at the same time.

We don't even have to talk to them as a government. (It'd be nice, but I don't care much.) Just don't prevent our companies from talking to them.

So the Chinese government is now saying that riot in South Korea was a patriot act.
    China will never get it
