So, no need to double team him anymore then, right?

Regardless, mcgrady is still capable in fitting on this team, he's a all-around player, he can post , shoot off screens, cut to the basket, pass, handle the ball, shoot transition 3's all things apart of adelmans offense.

I think people don't realize that the starters that Tmac played with were not a fit for adelmans offense, which is a big part of the reason why he's labeled as a ball-stopper.

When mcgrady played, Alston nor Battier cut or played off the ball, or shot off screens nor could they create shots for themselves off the driblle. So he had to have the ball and make plays for them or create for himself. Yao also was of no use in the high post because his strength is his low post game and he isn't that great of a passer.

So basically it was back to the old offense with the starters, but now we have other guys like brooks, ariza, lowry, budinger where t-mac doesn't have to dominate the ball.

QFT, This offense now has more players that are capable of running it now instead of the ball having to be in T-macs hands most of the time. Now he has slashers, perimiter shooters, high post passers and everything, I think he can benefit from the offense, and actually be more versatile.
