It's not like Kobe willed a crappy team to the finals and won a ring, or did something extraordinary that no one else has ever done. You're talking as though Steph is also retiring this year, and trying to compare their respective careers. Obviously, if Steph steps away from the after these playoffs (and let's say GS wins out), his resume wouldnt be as impressive as Kobe's. But Curry can still go for at least 5-7 years; as a shooter depending on very little athleticism (a la Ray Allen)? He could be 40 and still be a relevant player on a team. tl;dr? Curry ain't done. He's just hitting his prime now. There's at least 2 more MVPs for him to earn.
