I still fail to see the misunderstanding, especially from someone as smart as you. Is it just because I didn't put that I don't agree with what the Dixie Chick said? Will it make it a little easier for you if I say I don't? I don't care what a celebrity has to say any more or less than I care what you or Macbeth has to say, meaning, I don't put anymore weight into their opinion just because they're a celebrity. I respect their right, whether I disagree with them or not, to have opinions, just like I respect the right for people to have an opinion about their opinion. In this case, I wholeheartedly disagree with the opinion of the respondents, even though I recognize that their method of expressing their opinion is perfectly legal and constitutional. Got it? I can't believe I had to explain that twice.
Let me reword that. I disagree wholeheartedly disagree with the way they're expressing their opinion, not the opinion itself. I'm not that embarassed that Bush is from Texas.
