    Why is melo and lebron being officiated like their all star veterns while yao is be officiated like a first year scrub?

    JVG has already said, because he is 7'6". The refs think that bumping and pushing the big man doesn't hurt.

    yao needs to take a few lessons from shaq; cuss out the refs.

    It's one thing to let them get away with pushing, but to call yao for travelling when he is being shoved is unacceptable.

    Because he is not BLACK! I'm surprised that you guys think Yao would get fair calls form the refs. NBA refs always have the prejustice against non-US players, especially in their early years, it's a widely known issue.

    I remember a few years back, when one of the Euro player complained to the ref about a non-call, the ref ordered him to shut up, then turned around to joking with the other ref with some hating language on the Europeans. It was caught by a reporter from a newspapaer, that team filed a complain with the NBA.
