Well, I guess you're not following the orders of your opinion-makers, right? Right...... Sam, I swear that your posts all come straight off the DNC talking points and Krugman's waste-of-bandwidth-and-newsprint column. I love how the Left so pompously tries to depict people on the right as marching lockstep to whatever pied piper is in vogue at the moment. This kind of attitude makes me sick and you people wonder why I have so little respect sometimes for your side.
All I know is I heard Clinton, on tape, admit that he turned down the offer of Osama. Let me know if Clinton addresses the "myth" in his new book.
Do you have the ability to read and analyze information or do you just prefer for Limbaugh, Hannity, or O'Reilly to tell you what to think?
Clinton said there was talk of an offer on tape. He never admitted turning down anything. Then others researched it and learned there NEVER WAS A REAL OFFER OF BIN LADEN.
bama, I'll play along. If both sides follow marching orders and average Joes from both sides avoid thinking for themselves, then how on earth do you decide that the "left" or the "liberals" are somehow more craven for it? That has never made sense to me.
I am not an American, sorry that I jump in and open my mouth. But last time I checked, you guys are all Americans, and shouldn't you guys "discuss" things based on good intention for America, instead of dividing people by sites. It's funny, that you are the one talking about respect.
Imam bin Bama-Slamma: Boy, I wish I had the search function. I think it would be pretty easy to prove you as a frequent footsoldier of the Fighting Silver Platter Brigade, Rockets BBS squadron. I'm sure that phrase has made it into any and many of your angry, frothing at the mouth diatribes about William Jefferson Clinton, (Don't forget, that's more popular than Reagan leaving office Bill Clinton! ), which is made all the more hilarious when you accentuate it with profane, bulging eyed, ranting about "angry" Bush haters. Anyway, to find out more about the right wing media establishment and how it works, look to none other than a former member thereof, David Brock, an ex hatchet man whose works you no doubt championed during the day, and his latest book "The Republican Noise Machine: Right-Wing Media and How It Corrupts Democracy" I haven't read this volume but I imagine it gives a good idea of whats going down with your boys Anyway, I proved that your guys were slavishly following their orders just by a little googling. I did that research on my own, and found the results on my own. If you want to explore other myths and how they get propagated, I suggest you investigate how Al Gore said he invented the internet -- which of course never happened. I didn't get it from the DNC and I didn't read anything by Paul Krugman about it (who, by the way, is a an accomplished academic; I'm going to venture a guess that his take on fiscal policy is more valuable than yours, because it is, but that's a different subject) Anyway, I believe that's the call to prayer emanating from the Holy Bush Mosque minarets so you and the rest of the faithful should run along now!
because of the fatwah. He has said many times that liberals are evil, etc etc etc. He actually believes this. For somebody that is as oblivious to irony and hypocrisy as he is, and is so in to making blanket generalizations and pronouncements, you have to be willing to accept a large level of logical inconsistency. It sort of like the concept of "holy war".
This is democracy at work, albeit the far-extremes of the spectrum, but still it's discourse without violence (hopefully ) I just like to eat my popcorn, sit and watch...very interesting.
