    I like Ovechkin, but I will not talk about him now. I was a bit upset about the series turnaround and loss... but the CAPITALS' Laich is a WINNER in my book. :eek:

    I know that after losing that series the guy would probably feel like he'd just been kicked in the nuts (probably the working man's equivalent of being passed over for a promotion or something), so helping out a stranded motorist wouldn't be at the top of anybody's list of things to do at that point. But it's a sad state of affairs when a random act of kindness by an athlete is headline worthy news. Are we really that deprived of athletes that are genuinely nice people? Props to Laich for doing something nice, but man... I gotta wonder.
