The right is literally throwing a party right now about pushing their beliefs on to the country as a whole.

Is the "truth" thinking that the election was rigged/stolen? What "truth" are you seeing?

Both sides push beliefs, although the right less so because they dont have the monopoly on social media.

Redpill was hijacked as a term. I'm seeing people say things about it I've never heard before. Growing up for me, red pill essentially meat participation trophies were bullshit and you need to learn how to pull yourself up on your own because the world wont do it for you

Are the terms necessarily at odds? Can one be “woke” because they are “red-pilled”?

Y’all still trying to act like the far left and the far right are the same? One actively hates and tries to destroy democracy. One is actively trying to take us back to the 1950s

the “both sides” argument is always pure BS to me…like comparing shoplifting to aggravated assault

    How is it contradictory?

    Both sides have used violence.

I am not here trying to say who has done worse just stating the facts.

White knights and simps. They’re too delusional and weak to even champion what they* want.

My point is you saying "name one thing that a side has done right".... Man that the same rhetoric that the General, Durvasa and Trumpsters use... So again we are back to what Jiggy stated.... It's either choose the Left side or the Right side...

LOL. How evil. Like comparing a rose to a thorn when you compare the far left to the far right.

Treat us as equals vs Get your gay son out of my child's book.

Healthcare for all vs That's their problem, they should have gone to college.

Black lives matter vs All lives matter unless you are a trans or any other deviant.

    LOL

Wait — why am I being lumped in the same group as those others you mentioned? What rhetoric are you accusing me of using?

As someone that has used nationalized healthcare, has traveled a lot and has a lot of friends (including a couple severely disabled friends), I can tell you that nationalized healthcare is not this wonderful panacea that those in America think it is. Often times the quality of care is not up to snuff, there is the free rider issue of technology and investment off US payments, there are often very long waits for surgical visits, etc.

I am not saying that the USA shouldn't move towards a more nationalized form of healthcare. Currently the USA is spending too much money on healthcare. Some of the issues in the USA are cultural and not the healthcare system, but the system in the USA still isn't efficient. Having said that, if we go to a national healthcare system, there are going to be a lot of Americans that are not going to be happy with the change long term. It is not as clear cut as some say. If it is properly financed I think that more Americans will like it than dislike it, but it isn't going to be some amazing change where everyone is happy.

Yeah, I don't want to go off on a tangent but the Nazi party never gets anywhere with the growth and violence of the communists and anarchists. The communists were regularly engaging in terrorism, and it wasn't uncommon for the communists to come from another country to bomb or start chaos and leave. Being a communist or anarchist came before being a German or Russian or English. They were extremist and fundamentalists that scared a lot of people. The actions of the Nazi's or right wing extremist parties in Europe was often tolerated because they were viewed as "safer" for the common law abiding person. Yes the nazi party may dislike Jews or have traditional or dated views, but they were not not bombing or attacking the apolitical and they promised to eradicate the communists.

It isn't the same, but in this country we tolerated the Patriot Act and many other erosions of rights because the government promised to keep terrorists out of our country and end home grown radical Islamists. So it can happen on a scale anywhere.

What does a German in 1930's Germany care if the Reichstag perhaps wasn't really burned to the ground by communists if they are not seeing bombs exploding in the streets, and war veterans are being treated better.

Looks like the most annoying problem is using lingo instead of defining your terms.

Whenever there is a change in the power structure of society, there will be issues.

We are seeing a change where white people are seeing their social position challenged - and this is being discussed a lot.

However, what isn't being discussed is that we are seeing males having their social position challenged - and this has upset and confused a lot of men, regardless race or ethnic status.

This country, has largely been absolutely dominated by male whites at the macro level. However, at the micro level males in general have dominated by all males. Laws, social norms, courtship rules, values and even terminology was made by males and from the perspective of males.

So you have a lot of insecure men of all races. I can tell you that I think that it is a good thing and LONG over due, but there have been times where I have had to take a step back and reconsider something I felt well grounded on, and realize that no, they ultimately are reflective of the patriarchy.

I personally believe that some take it too far, but EVERYTHING in the patriarchy is bad.... but as a white male, I also realize that I am not a minority or a woman, so to an extent who am I to question or invalidate the feels and requests of others that do not benefit from the patriarchy. Having an amazing wife that is incredibly bright and strong has helped me grow a realize this.... but I can see how some men can just become angry and feel lost.... but I am not justifying it.
