Hey, New York got value in their trade. Good for them.
Maybe Mooch just needed motivation that a long term contract did not provide for him.

Knicks point guards Charlie Ward and Moochie Norris were run ragged by Kidd, who fueled a 37-point final period with 6-of-8 shooting and five assists. He was responsible for all but the first point in a 17-2 game-breaking run

Mooch's still over dribbling and cant make a jumper. Right now he's in the honey moon period with the Knicks and their other PG (Frank Williams) is out. Expect Moochie to ride the pine in about five games.

It says more about the Nets who...

    * played horrid D (poor in transition and rotating in the half-court set).
    * allowed Allan Houston, Van Horn and McDyess wide open jumpers.
    * gave NY 13 more FGA's than the Rox give up.

Good post, except for including Allan Houston in that equation. They don't call him 25, 1, and 1 for nothing.

Yeah, he also got 26 minutes.

Way to go, Mooch. Hope the minutes & success continue (as long as you aren't playing us!).

With this statement you are very wrong. What about the twenty one years of being a Rockets fan before Yao Ming arrived?
Steve Francis can and should be a much better Team player. I only want Steve to be all that he can be, a great player. After all its to the advantage of the Team to have him playing his best basketball as a Playmaker or as a Shooting Guard. If he doesnt fit then he should be all that he can be on another Team, for the benifit of the Rockets Team! I hope that Steve Francis finds his niche with the Rockets, only Steve can make that happen. This statement applies to any position or any player on the Team, including Yao Ming.Every Rockets Fan should want the players to play as a Team and be the best that they can be.This is the foundation of any Corporation or winning Basketball Team.
Yao Ming is my favourite player on our Team. Who is your favourite player?

Sorry Sam but you have a closed mind and only see what you want to see. If you are educated you should consider the opposite opinion as valid till proven otherwise. There is a ying and yang to every point of view. Just because you dont like my opinion you shouldn't be so rude and obnoxious especially to your fellow posters.

Wait a minute, Yetti said that Moochie purposely sucked so that Steve Francis would look better.

This is the opinion of a true Rocket's fan? That a player would sacrifice his career for another guy? Yetti has problems, if calling it like he see's it means gems like the quote from above, I'd like to try whatever drug he is currently on.

Not only that, but that he also posted (if only I had search) that Francis was intentionally missing shots and committing turnovers in another thread once in order to make Yao look bad.

Sort of reminds me of Trader Jorge without the mildly amusing pictures.

Have to agree. Moochie is doing well so far. 7 pts,4 assists in 8 min. He is more effcient than Murbury.

He isn't shell shocked by playing for a-hole JVG....

Trade SF and see what a big mistake that will be.

Get rid of a-hole and see what happens in a positive light.

And Knicks still losing, bad luck Moochie, before he joined Knicks, they won 4 in a row.

So Moochie had a game with 9 assists? I'm reminded of a game a few years ago when Tyrone Nesby had 20 points against us and the Clippers anouncer called him "a special, special player". Even bad players have good games.
