I got excited there for a second thinking he was going to prison, and we could cut him.

van guny i know you are a tougher coach than rudy. Please dont make the same mistake as rudy and keep this dribble demon!!!! Keep this poor guy as much off the court as you can!!!! I know it will hurt his feelings... But when he plays, its so ugly that the city of houston becomes depresed!!! So do you wanna hurt moochie's feelings or 4 million people's hearts.

Matt is cuttable, end of his story. Mooch is on contract here for what, another 8 or 10 years?

Wait, is it supposed to be news that Moochie is worthless? Is there anyone here who feels otherwise?

also, I agree the title is very misleading. I thought he got busted in a Mo Taylor/Eddie Griffin sense as well.

I was looking through ESPN's predictions for the season, and David Aldridge actually picked Moochie to be the NBA's most improved player.

Maybe the reason Moochie didn't play much against Orlando was because Steve and Cat were playing well...

hey hey....you know logic isnt welcome in bashing threads...

    especially in Moochie bashing threads..

btw...I do think this is the first time Tim has posted as a regular guy instead of answering questions. It is the first time I remember seeing it anyway..

    Rock on Tim...;)

If Moochie can dribble less, say 2 seconds, then pass the ball to another player, he won't be criticized that much.

By the way, it should not be difficult to dribble less, how difficult is it to just pass the ball?

I have a feeling Moochie will at least play a couple of minutes each game. In every article about the Rockets this year, they mention (at the end) that Moochie is currently second for the longest game-to-game active streak--ever since John Stockton retired (*sniff*). I mean, the guy in first played around 500 plus games straight, so Moochie is a far cry from being the next Cal Ripken of the NBA. Still, I can't help but wonder if the higher-ups are pressuring Van Gundy to at least play Moochie for a minute or two each game.

I'll admit I have very little patience for players who are consistently bad, but Moochie is so bad this year that I feel sorry for him. He's like Rudy from the movie "Rudy."

I doubt his streak has anything to do with it. Our two options at backup point guard are Moochie and Mike Wilks, so one of them has to get some minutes. As bad as Moochie is, Wilks is probably worse, so Moochie will continue to play.
