    Princeton, 2006. A computer science major, Morey grabbed him a year after he graduated and has been grooming him for better things ever since, apparently. So he's been with the organization for over a decade, up to his ears in stat analysis as best I can tell from reading a couple of brief bios, and has sure been under the radar. All I can say is that if Daryl picked him for such an important position, McNair must be damn good at what he does, with broad experience working under Morey (no, not working that way, you dirty dogs!).

    Congratulations, Monte! Please help Daryl stay with the Rockets for another decade, at least, OK? Heck, make that two decades. As far as I'm concerned, you helping to keep Daryl Morey right here, doing what he's been doing, should be priority #1. :cool:

    He has had a lot of influence for awhile now.

    It is interesting that the Rockets decided to promote him.
