Great block by Amare (great recorvering from doubling Webber around the FT line) - but even greater as far as timing is concerned.

Miller should take the blame here for not slamming the ball. Miller should have simply dunked the damn ball or at least used the glass. The type shot he attempted there was not a higher percentage one than the two I listed.

When I saw that play the first thing that came to mind was Yao Ming. I just hope he saw that play and learn something from it. Whenever you are around the rim - just dunk it!

Eddie was fine, as he usually was. It was the play by play cat, usually there's an older gentleman that does Suns games, but this time it was some young guy who was unbearable.

It was a nice block, but come on guys....it was the only time Amare played any defense the whole game.

That's definitely a better angle. The shot was still going up but it was over the cylinder which I don't think you are allowed to touch the ball when it's over it so yes, I stick with my earlier thought of it being goaltending.

That's a goal tend. Yes the ball is rising but it's above the cylinder. You have to project a cylinder above the rim. You can't touch the ball there which it pretty clearly is.

exactly i think the suns are slowly becoming Jazz-hated status for me. never have i seen a team so reliant on one player to control an offense without scoring. stoudemire while a good player is nothing without nash. i cant stand how arrogant he is and i still think that yao was screwed out of the ROY. (when all but 2 national media ppl, wilbon and walton, say yao will be a bust and then he wins ROY how bad will that look on their faces? remember media does vote on these things) and then last year even though we missed the playoffs in the 03 season by a single game all the pre season rankings i saw had us at like the 10th seed in the west while the suns were 6th being called the team of the future. its nice that they are doing well but for some reason i just feel that if they run into JVG or Pop in the playoffs they'll lose.

Exactly. We'll see how Amare and the Suns do when they play in a slow it down style like the playoffs will be.

Amare is an arrogant b*stard but he backs it up. Here's to hoping the Suns play Memphis in the playoffs.
