Will you give it a rest? The rose bowl is over. Do you hate Leinart too?

Why does everyone get upset by the "Hype" Leinart gets? Vince gets just as much love on ESPN. He was drafted before Leinart. Leinart is going to be the best QB out of that draft IMO. This game showed how good he will be. This was only his 2nd start in the league and he SHOULD have gotten his first come from behind win. He will turn that poor organization around. Great game.

lol omg, just read the whole thread, you WERE pulling for the cardz to lose solely because Matt Leinart was on USC last year. LMAO you are pathetic!

Wow, i'd be sick right now if I were a card fan. ouch.

Because I didn't see that hype going to Vince yesterday, who actually won a start. I didn't see that hype going to Carr four years ago, when he (like Leinart tonight) threw two touchdowns in his first start and led his team to a win.

For the record, I'll state that I think Leinart will be a good pro quarterback. (fwiw, I think he'll have a bigger long-term impact on the game than Bush, but that's another discussion.) It's just sickening to watch the media gush all over one two-touchdown performance as a rookie and essentially declare him as the second coming when Carr did a similar thing four years ago and didn't get that treatment.

I was down by 6 with my opponent playing Grossman and the Bears kicker. Ended up in a tie after Grossman put up a -12.

That's not the only reason. You're reading a lot into it. I'm certainly no Leinart fan (although I do think he'll be a good quarterback). But I do happen to like the Bears also. Not really a fan of them, but they're fun to watch play and cheer for when their game has no real significance to the Texans or anything like that.

I changed the channel after Grossman threw his 3rd INT.

Unbelievable win by the Bears, their defense looked like crap the first 3 1/2 quarters but they really stepped it up. Leinart played very well tonight, the Card's OL was very good, and their receivers make plays. The Cards should be much better than 1-4.

You're kidding, right? They talked about Vince on NFL Total Access for about 15 minutes yesterday. Also, you didn't hear it on Carr because he went to a small school. If you go to UT or USC, you're probaly going to get some love.

Vince is like Sam Cassell, he doesnt get any credit, yet everyone in the entire league knows he's by far the best leader in the game.

NFL Total Access is a whole lot different from ESPN. Whole lot fewer viewers.

Best Monday Night game in a long time (and I wondered wth they were doing scheduling this game).

Urlacher is a beast. Seems like all you heard was Urlacher/Vasher/Leinart the entire game.

Only the Cards could be up by 20 at the half and lose that game. Sweet stadium, crappy team.

Leinart should be a great QB in the future, this game and the previous one, he took the cardinals to a good spot to kick a FG and the kicker missed it.

The chicago offense didnt deserve to win this game, because the defense and the special teams did all the work.

Anyone catch Denny Green's postgame rant? What an ass. You'll see it over and over on SportsCenter.
