Aside from my Rockets championship pennant hanging in my office, there is the fact that I have been talking trash to people here since the matchup was set...

Why don't we just make the offseason into our long postseason? That way there will be no disappointment.

Srsly most of the time I feel something is missing. Whether that are plays in the playbook, missed shots, missed assignments, another Allstar player, smart trades for high end role players... you name it

It is not over yet. Be prepared for another season of letdown. Mcfail is here to stay.

Same time next year there will be threads saying "congratulations for another great season", "they made great progress!", "there is always next year", garbage like that.

    Same ***** never gets old.

I couldn't watch the game, I was in New Orleans in a hotel room and couldn't stomach seeing this squad lose.

What bothers me is that any simple elementary coach would've know that Lillard had to come to the ball to get that shot off.

Why not zone up with the remaining 3 players. 2 players could've have covered the 3, especially with TJ and his long arms forcing a lob pass.

As a result, Chandler should've been station at the top of the 3 point line. Beverly in between the 3 players at 3 point line on the right side and James Harden near the lane on the right side covering any cutters for a potential layup or alley oop. I wouldv'e given them a 2 by Aldridge or any cutter. Not a 3 to lose the game, really McFail. The top of the key was wide open and they didn't have TJ cover that area.

So what if Aldridge hits a 2, we play OT. I would have let Aldridge open and catch it and tell TJones (known to block shots) to run at him along with D12 jumping out of the gym on that jump shot and let the chips fall where they may.

Yup for the next 5 months until the season starts.

How can you not face guard your opponent with .9 seconds to go:confused:

If you "feel pain" from a sporting event and it last longer than 10 minutes, you should reevaluate your life

You sure? Rockets are the worse out of timeout defensive team in the NBA.

    remember this?

But time will heal all thing. I at least smile when I saw this. Don't know why but it ease the suffering.

And look at Blake's shot. Doesn't even pivot for it and the time still wined down 0.9 sec
