Well, in some cultures, people like the Hunzas, Abkhasians, Vilcabambans, older Okinawans, and parts of Costa Rica regularly live to be over 100 and continue to thrive at that age. I'm talking more along the lines of places that are maybe not technologically/economically advanced, but not starving or impoverished either. Even in Asian countries where the life expectancy is similar to the US, the elderly are respected more. I dunno, I watched my mom turn 60 recently and go through a whole phase of being depressed. She started fearing being old and wanted to look into face lift options. It's just so normal here to fear old age and assume a life expectancy of 70-79 when people don't have to die/break down at that age.
I was just being a smartass because I wanted to take the tone of the thread back to its original intentions. Oh, and the Eskimos put their old folks on ice floes and shoved them out to sea.
I thought it was pretty easy to tell that the Mom was on the left and the daughter was on the right. And they don't even look alike besides having blonde hair and dressing alike.
