Im pretty sure since im keeping Charles, I will be losing a 2nd round pick since he was drafted there last round. thats how most keeper leagues work.
I'm pretty sure we all know how keeper leagues work. Moes has said himself in this thread that he doesn't know whether there'll be a penalty for having a keeper. Usually penalty is determined by what pick you lose, a first rounder or whatever round that player was chosen etc. Regardless I'm pretty sure that's what he means by he doesn't know if there will be a penalty. So I guess all we can do is wait to see how the rules regarding keepers are set.
I'm having trouble deciphering Yahoo's writeups without having access to the backend but I think everything is controlled at the commissioner level. It seems like it's up to Moes. If we wind up having to forfeit a draft pick in some way I retain the right for "backsies" on the McCoy deal. Ha.

There should be no penalty. If there was going to be one, it should have been decided before people started trading.
Apparently I have to swap a keeper player for a draft pick. So the best I can do is trade your final pick for your keeper. Everyone good with this?
Imported all trades so far. Remember you have until the 16th to declare your keeper either on yahoo or in here. After that we move into Draft Mode.
Do we have to wait until the 6th for all trades/keepers to show up in yahoo? I could've sworn Spiller was set as my keeper since I traded McCoy to Ziggy, but Shady is still on my roster as the keeper.
I made Jamaal Charles my keeper. Why does it say Ray Rice is my keeper when I traded him for a 5th round pick (Mayhem). Still says I have no 5th round pick... what??
I think you're good. The most recent trades probably aren't visible to us yet. If you look at the picks results you'll notice every single RB that was traded has the keeper designation now, so it looks like Moes had to go out of his way to assign traded keepers but didn't have to bother with keepers already on the correct team. It looks like every GM that traded a keeper has the (K) designation assigned to that traded player. Sounds confusing but I think all is right.
Well, that makes sense since you can only have so many players on your roster. That is the same thing as not penalty.
Some of y'all have keepers I'd trade a 1st and 3rd or 4th or 5th (depending on who) for. Just saying... *We'd have to wait until it went into draft mode or make it contingent on who's available and I draft for you, you know, like Morey likes to do.
