Niners trade: JJ Stokes Milford Stephenson Dana Stubblefield 3rd and 4th round picks Jets trade: John Abraham
Nomar, I was informed that Hearst sucks in this game, so I would like to renegotiate this deal. I don't really want to flatout void the deal, but I think we can work something out to make up for Heart's ****tiness...
Confirmed I'd like for all 3 of these players to start for me with Gragg at Guard in place of whichever starting guard I originally had sucks the most. Also make Miller my starting qb...
moe im not doubting nomars intentions, but i think allowing trades with computer teams is a bad idea From experience in madden2k1 franchise mode you could trade a avg 4th string wr, a mediocre young backup and a 1st round pick for moss-plenty of crap deals available. Thus why would teams trade with each other when we can rip off the computer. I apologize if the madden2k2 series is different or that i didnt speak up sooner, but if you allow this to go, many teams would use the comp to their advantage frequently since its more profitable
I too dispute this trade. From past experience with Madden, you could easily trade a 5th, 6th, 7th, and 2nd round pick and get the first pick in the entire draft. It's too easy to take advantage of the computer like that. If you let this go then I want to do the following trades... Hearst Walt Harris 49ers 2nd round pick 7th pick 6th pick for Tim Couch Also... A-train Bates 5th pick 4th pick Jim Miller For Corey Dillon
I understand that you think that people could take advantage of the computer. But thats why moe instituted the whole system of contesting computer trades. so that if someone tries to propose an unfair trade, like a 5th, 6th, 7th picks for a 1st, it wont go through. Also, the computer in 2002 is a lot smarter than in previous versions. Now, if you think the trade that i proposed is unfair, that is a different matter. But i dont see how. I need a solid DT, and I dont need Okeafor as i have 2 DEs already. Hampton is not rated high in the game, but he is big and can plug up the middle against the run.
You traded 2 backups plus a 7th rounder for a starter on another team. There is no GM in this league that would do a deal like that. So if we're actually going to allow trades with the computer, then I contest this trade for that reason.
Huh? Bryant starts for me. But he is more of a pass rusher. Okeafor would start but I happen to be stocked at DE.
Well he's not a starter on the real 49ers...so I wouldn't think he'd be rated as starter material on this game. I think the majority of the GM's prefer that we don't allow trades with the computer teams.
Nomar, it's a dead issue. Moe said the trade would go through unless it was contested. Trade has been contested by 3 people already (I'll go ahead and join as the 4th). Drop it. Let it go.
Why are you so scared that somehow this trade will magically transform my team to an unbeatable Goliath. Casey Hampton is not rated high in this game BGM. Ive played it before. Allowing computer trades is helpful, because as long as we dont have all teams GMed, we are missing out on potential pieces to our teams. Instead of trying to block my trades, why dont you go and make some trades to help your own team.
this isnt about the fairness of this deal but come on im no fool, madden 2k2 didnt just get smart overnight, i cant tell you how many times i could rip the computer off for players like moss, etc, in fact very view players were deemed untradeable by them. Im dead serious if you let this go people will start dealing with the computer to fill their needs like me with wr, because the best value exists, thats the problem.
