Lowry? Seriously? Because every 3rd game he scores over 10 points?

PP, Lee and Williams I think should be untouchable if trading young.

Hayes should be kept as a hustler teacher and to teach incoming bigs true def.

He's scored in double digits in 18 of 35 games (51%). He only did so in 5 of the his first 14 games (35%), but has done so in 13 of his last 21 (62%). Of course, you were probably being facetious, but the man can be relied upon to at least score double-digits more often than not.

At this point it has become fairly obvious that the group of guys, as constructed, are not a playoff caliber team. The Clippers are closer to the Rockets then we are to the Blazers(Tie-Breaker) and with the way the Clippers have been playing as opposed to the Rockets, that might shrink a lot more. It might be time to move some players around and go much younger just to provide some energy and spark.

Development should be a HUGE factor the second half of the season along with Morey trying to acquire another piece to the puzzle by the deadline. I can see some teams passing the Rockets in the next few weeks so our draft position should be somewhere 7-10 when its all said and done.

What you guys dont realize is by "tanking" we will suck not only this year, but for 5 or 6 years to come. We will be like New Jersey or Minnesota, not sure that's very logical

    not sure i understand this.

right now we're sucking without tanking. these guys are trying, and they still suck.

perhaps if we doubled our efforts, we'd suck twice as much?

seems like it's easier to go French on the season, wave the white flag and pick Hurley's numbers for the lottery.

Any underclassman worth his salt isn't going to declare for this years draft with a lockout looming. This years draft will be lousy at best. So why tank for a higher draft position so we can give a guaranteed contract to someone who (in a normal draft) would be a 2nd round pick if drafted at all?
