Do the proposal over video be creative and send it to her cell phone and as shes watching it break out the ring and get on one knee and put it on. This way she will always have the video.
good luck buddy. I am going to propose this year as well, only difference is that mines is going to be 10 times more romantic than yours cause I took time to planned it out ahead and didn't wait til I get the ring to do it you ****ing moron.
I have a proposal idea later down the line when i'm ready to settle down. Let's just say it's unique, funny, and will probably go viral on youtube but don't do any flashmob crap. So played out but if you need advice. Try getting a treasure chest and leave a note for her to do some scavenger hunt. Since you guys been together for 5 years have at least 4 items that is thoughtful and the last item should be the ring where she can find you on one knee somewhere. Like one of the 4 items leading to the ring can be a magnifying glass with a note attach that say, "the more i look into you the more i fall in love" and 11 rose with one artificial one that say, " i will love you forever until the last rose die". I'm pretty sure you get the picture.
Uhh... thanks buddy? Why so angry? Besides, just because I will have the ring in a few days doesn't mean I have to propose right then and there. I can wait a while and plan it out ahead too. I was just asking for some advice. No need to get all pissy.
Here's another one. Put the ring box on the visor so when you pick her up on a date as soon as she sit down in the car. Tell her she have some gunk in her teeth and she should use the visor to get it off and when the ring box fall on her lap. Tell her, " you have a beautiful smile that i can live the rest of my life with. Will you marry me"
Oh man, I'm with you on this. It really should be a private deal between the 2 of you, not some cliched public spectacle. I did mine on the beach as the sun was setting - just the 2 of us. Haymitch, have you thought about Huntsville State Park? That's where I always took my women when I lived there. Lots of nice private hiking trails going around the lake. Very peaceful. Oh, and congrats! (assuming she says yes...)
if you want a beautiful setting, try Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens. that place is horticultural heaven.
I'm lots of fun! Now don't forget to eat your vegetables. Don't run around the pool and wait 30 minutes after eating before you go swimming.
The next time you are taking a ****, yell for more toilet paper. When she brings it to you, hand her the ring.
Put a ring in a box. And strap the box on your D. Tell her if she open the box she will find a surprise.
About 3.5 hours til **** goes down... Will involve our dogs, then after the proposal a surprise dinner with our families at her favorite restaurant, and will end with a suite in a nice hotel. Thanks to those who gave honest suggestions and got the wheels turning in my head. Blessings and (more importantly) rep be upon you.
i second this... i've clearly neglected hermann park bc we rode through there on our bikes a few weeks ago and that place was gorgeous.
That's possible, but to tip the scales in my favor I did the dishes last night. Plus, I'll wear deodorant today. And who can say no to a guy who smells tolerable and does the dishes? No one.
