He is a very good player. I wish him all the best and hope he will recover from his health problem soon.
I'm very sad. He was erratic but a great fighter with a wonderful outgoing personality. Always underestimated,a fine all round talent who managed to adjust to the NBA with considerable success. There have been better 2nd rounders than him but he was high up there with them for quite a while. He didn't go out with a bang, but he showed flashes of his brilliance till the end. I hated to see him go when the trade for McGrady was made, but it was a painful necessity. I will always remember him as a true Houston Rocket, and I will never forget that he made the winning shot in his very first game for us.His defense against an all time great like Kobe was remarkable. He was one of my favorite Rockets and I always supported him even after he was traded. Good luck Cuttino. My very best wishes are with you. I will never forget you.
Will cat back to Houston? Emm... I mean will he live in Houston in the future? Maybe Houston people will still see cat in Toyota Center someday after today
Thanks for all the wonderful memories Cat. Wish you the best and hope to see you on the sidelines at the TC.
like most of u here....it really saddens me to hear this, he's a great player and he gave his best when he played for us and i actually thought he could end his career here with us
This is really upsetting. Next to Dream and Chuck, Cat has always been my favorite player. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see Cuttino take a year off and then come back... Maybe he can do what Juwan Howard did when he had the heart infection. Just hopeful thinking, not totally realistic. Cod
Best of luck to Cat. I know he and Francis took a lot of grief for their occasionaly bonehead play but its too bad we never got to see at least another year with them and Yao on this team to see what they could've done.
