LMAO:D :D that is some funny stuff

Seriously roxs fans lets have a little faith. You would think that one player makes the rockets. We will be fine just need an above average preformance from a few reserves

who wants to bet that Moochie starts and Francis slides over to make Steve Smith huff and puff....hehe!!! That's our best attack, imo.

I'd be surprised to see Rudy change Torres' role right now. Torres' is getting progressively more minutes, but I think he wants him to learn to come off the bench right now.

To win tonight Moochie has to come thru with 12 pts and 10asst. Rice will have to score 20+ and Francis has to score 30+. If the Rox win Moochie is worth 3.6mil....

Yep, you're right: Steve Smith won't be comfortable playing the two, tonight.

I love after POTENTIAL losses (we haven't even played the games yet) to world title contenders and people are prediction the Rockets missing the playoffs. Lets play this adding game:

New Jersey (5-1) * 9 = 45 or 46 wins

Portland (4-4) * 9 = 36 wins

Sacramento (5-2) * 9 = 36 wins

See how ridiculous saying the Rockets are a lottery team because of two POTENTIAL losses are? Must suck giving up on the season already.

I highly doubt the Spurs are going to put Smith on Francis. They do have a "defensive specialist" in Bowen. They'll probably put him on Steve and let Smith hang out with Rice and Wiz at the 3 point line...

Now if Rudy wants to make Steve Smith huff and puff, he'll throw moochie, steve, and oscar out there. Old man Smith wouldn't be able to hang with any of those players...

The key components to win:

Francis explodes. Cato and Griffin explode (blocks). Rice has an average offensive game, Mooch has an average defensive game.

Mobley just ABUSED Bowens. I expect much the same from Francis tonight.

Must suck to be lacking in simple arithmetic competence. You really should only multiply by 9 if you are extrapolating from a 9 game record. By going on these teams' current records you will get the following win totals at season's end:

NJ 68
POR 41
SAC 59

Must suck to live all your life in perpetual obliviousness racking up 3000+ posts w/ a blind and obstinate faith of optimism.

Whatever. If you want to give up on the season be my guest. It isn't blind optimism it's the simple fact that the season is 2 weeks old and already you're complaining about the team and giving up on them. But if you're saying that my problem is that I'm not giving up on the team while you are guilty as charge. I'm not the only one who isn't giving up on the team by the way. So I guess the majority the site is living on "blind and obstinate faith and optimism" of a team that is still developing chemistry. It's one thing to say they think this team is only going to win 45 games before the season, it's another thing to average out the first 7 games and say they are going to win 45 or 46 games.

I would go with the "It must suck" but you made it old FAST! But if you want to get petty and take personal shots at people, maybe you should look at the won-loss totals of the teams. The win totals of those teams STILL showed that your saying the Rockets would win 45 or 46 games looked ridiculous. Because if you think that New Jersey is going to win 68 games, well, whatever. I may lack "simple arithmetic competence" since you seem to be a "big shot", but at least I'm giving the team more then 2 weeks before I say the team isn't going to the playoffs. And no it isn't called blind faith it's called common sense and patience. And you don't need "extrapolating" and "simple arithmetic competence", you just need patience and time that comes with being the fan of a young team that rebuilt it's front line and is relying on rookies off the bench. And it takes more then 2 weeks before you can say "This team is going to win 45 or 46 and no playoffs".
