    Try this experiment at work.

Throw some F bomb at your boss and find out how much freedom of speech you really have. ;)

First of all, Cat didn't throw F-bomb, 2nd of all, refrees are not players boss. Cat is working for refrees, nor David Stern. Have you ever heard any NBA officials admit there are problems with officiating? They act like the refrees are god, I am sick and tired of this. At least they should look into this when people are complaining about officiating and give fans an explaination, whether the refrees are wrong or not in those games.

Even Bill and Calvin talked about how bad the officaiating was last night. Papavich b****ed a little at them and he got his way while JVG stayed away and didnt get any calls. You shouldnt have to b**** at a ref to get a call he shoud know what is a foul and what isnt!

Something I am not happy with JVG is he seldom argues with refrees about the bad calls. Has he ever got a T foul, not mention got ejected. Popavic, Don Nelson, Phil Jack, even Rick Carlisle always argue, even about the legit calls, in this league, the coaches have to whine to get respect, and never let your players do that for you.

IIRC, Bill and Calvin talked about this last night.

It was their opinion that VG saves it up since if you constantly whine to the refs...they eventually tune you out.

Therefore, if you arent known for whining about the calls all the time...then when you do speak up...they have more of a tendency to listen.

not saying this is right or wrong...just passing along what I heard discussed.

Van Gundy needs to get ejected one time at least. I remember a few games ago when Van Gundy got a technical. He shut his mouth really fast after that.

Quit b****in and play. If the system rewards floppers, then FLOP.

I'm sick and tired of losing games, and the whining that comes with it.

That just makes me remember how stupid and small he looked when he was clamped onto Alonzo Mourning's leg when he and Larry Johnson got into a fight on the court. Man, that was one of the funniest things I have ever seen on in an NBA game!!!

Easy, man, the system rewards floppers, AND WHINNING, this is how it works, so you have to adapt yourself to the system and whinning, not the other way around. This the part of way to win. There is no Mr. Nice Guy out there, keep that in mind.

By the way, what happened to civics class. The constitution limits the power of the government to restrict various activities of the citizens of the country. The first amendment does NOT read "The NBA shall not ..."

    Please don't vote.

    LOLOL

No kidding. If I were mentally challenged, I would be incensed if I were compared to the morons that had the whistles last night.

I find it hilariously funny that Mobley of all people is questioning the competence of someone else. Talk about your pot calling the kettle black...

I was not suggesting that Cat should use that words, but it is ridiculous every time when the players speak out, they get fined by the league. Nobody has the right to shut up anybody.

Bill and calvin did spend time questioning the officiating last night.

JVG's non-ref baiting is, I believe, a way to push and prod the players to play the game and stay out of mental cesspools by letting officials' calls get into their heads.

I used to think whining @ the refs is stupid because they'll hold a grudge, but then I realized what's the point? Yao is a pretty respectful player and for the most part we are a pretty respectful team, I don't see either Yao or the team getting any calls.

I CAN'T REMEMBER the last time they added a point to a team's total 5 minutes after the basket (oh, wait, I can... last night). That nice lane violation also added another point for the Sperms. I'm not suggesting that we would have won the game had we not gotten those bad calls but I think every team (and pretence team) deserves to play on a level playing field.
