Oh, well, then we should trade Cat now. He didn't hit the 3.

Cat has taken heat from "fans" this season, and perhaps for good reason. But the fact is often Steve wasn't playing. Cat is not our 1st option and never has been. So he made some mistakes because he was trying to overcompensate and rushed some situations...due to unfamilarity. I'm not too concerned about it...this season. I'm not ready to give up on his talent. I'd rather develop it. Some see the glass half empty.
Calvin Murphy (maybe a PG, but only avg >7 apg twice & the rest was around 4. I'd call him a SG)
Personally, I don't care if he was 0-20. I'd rather have a player hit big shots than to post meaningless stats. Everybody has off games....the best players make big plays even on off nights. Besides Cat is shooting 43% for the season (and increasing over last month). How is that bad?

That is about the worst excuse I've ever heard for playing stupid basketball.

The fact that we didn't have Francis is a reason why Cat should realize that each possesion is a premium, and good shot selection is vital.

I personally couldn't tell a difference between Cat when Francis was around, and when he was out.

So, you would expect Eddie, as a rookie, to take the best shots each and every time? How about TMo or Torres?

This is an extreme example, HOWEVER, my point is that Cat is still learning how to be the goto guy.

I wish he'd make better decisions too. But I'm not the one who is on the floor. I don't know what plays Rudy calls. I don't fully understand how defenses force situations (if I did, I'd be a defensive coordinator right now. Are you?).

Cat's 1st two seasons were as a 6th man. Last season Cat played a lot but Steve was ALWAYS on the floor. This is the 1st time in his career he's been THE goto man. I'm sure he's learned something along the way. At least I hope so.

You don't notice any difference in Cat's play since Steve's return? He's been on a freaking tear!!!! He's drilling his 3's and his fg% has raised the last month. That's no coincidence.
