The thing is that Kobe's had worse shooting nights. I think he only scored 16 or 17 pts on some ****ty shooting against Ron Artest. And he also scored 13 pts on Ray Allen the other night, a player not exactly known for D. And against Suns today, he also only shot 10-25.

As I said, Kobe averaged 38 pts against us in 4 games this season, well above his season average. So I don't think Cat did a better job on Kobe than some other defenders. And I wouldn't call Cat "stopped" Kobe on Jan 17. More like Cat played good D but Kobe also happened to have his ocassional off night on that night.

Mobley has played perhaps his best overall games since getting hurt.

Overall game. Cat. Sounds real good together.

I would love to have the Cat back from his rookie year. He was a good defender (by Rookie standards) and if he could just get his 14 points then he would be a very nice player.

I agree I hope he "gets" it!

Cat got a couple hundred more points from the free throw line last year than he did in his rookie year...Guess he could work on missing a few free throws, that might knock his ppg down a few points.
Cats game has improved dramatically, on offense and defense, since his rookie year.

I disagree. Cat has not been decent on D since his rookie year. Biggest problem is he doesn't always act like he cares on D since his offensive load increased.
