...my left limb for some balanced takes. Mobley is a good player, better this year than Green. Both will probably have very good NBA careers in the long term. We don't know yet which one will ultimately provide more value for the team that picked him.

Stop pining for a man we never drafted, it's weird. It's all about context. If he was on our team his defense would b trash-alright. No coach to teach him, no veteran big man and traffic cones in sengun and kpj. All u need to do Is look at Smith
I'm simply repeating exactly what other posters have very recently written. I don't care about who wanted who prior to the draft Do you believe that Mobley is defensively just "alright " and he's merely the beneficiary of "narrative,"?
I think Mobley defensive skillset would b sht or near useless if we drafted him. Narrative does play a part when it comes to crowning DPOY and those sort of awards.
Lol, oh my god, ok. I mean the book on Evan Mobley coming out of college was that he was a 5 position defender with elite leaping/rebounding/blocking ability. Absolutely better on defense than Jabari Smith jr. I don't even closely follow the NBA draft but I absolutely know that's true. Some of you guys just invent silly things because it makes you mad that wack jobs like bobbythegreat happen to randomly be right. Evan Mobley was an elite-elite defender in college, projected to be one in the pros, and now is one, based on his athletic ability and instincts. Jabari Smith was not those things - that's not his skillset. Has nothing to do with the Rockets. He has nothing to do with Mobley.
? I would still want to draft green over mobley bc in a league that is driven by offense, u go with the more offensive oriented player. I know u like pining for a guy that isn't on the team like booby, but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't get any recognition/DPOY if we drafted him. He's a good defender but he would have been sht if we drafted him.

U must b mistaking me for someone else. I have never pined for c. Wood and wanted him gone. Don't even know who tree rollins is. Understandable when u are pining for a guy so much u can get delusional.
Most folks who hate green if not all are just Mobley simps. They pine for their man so they lash out at green and root for kpj for some weird reason.
