Waterproof maybe, but part of the reason Sapphire glass isn't in this version is because it shatters at certain heights. Nano-coating would help a lot of electronics...
they should be using sapphire glass and liquidmetal casing for the next one.. it can be as thin as they want as liquidmetal has really high elasticity
My experience so far - had the Plus since the launch, no case in and out of my pocket all day everyday, phone is not bent, absolutely love it. Same for my wife's.
Any help from AT&T users? My wife's 4s is now available for the 2 year upgrade (so 16gb 6 for $199) as her contract has now expired. When I went to order the new iphone, it stated that since I am choosing the 2 year contract agreement for $199 (as opposed to the $27/mo NEXT program), I will automatically lose my mobile share plan that the two of use use??? Has this happened to any of you? Would going to the store and giving them **** help?
No clue... still on the grandfathered unlimited data plan. The day they don't let me keep that will be the day I get to leave AT&T. But it sounds like you shouldn't have to switch your current plan on an eligible upgrade... just like the grandfathered plans. There is also the possibility that you would be switching to a "cheaper" plan, so make sure that isn't the case.
You shouldn't lose the mobile share, but you should lose the $25 discount as you'll be paying the subsidized priced of the phone.
Ay, ay, ay... estos niƱos... Poor kids, they'll have to pay DEARLY: http://www.dailydot.com/technology/iphone-6-bendgate-apple-store/?fb=dd Danny and friend... will pay. http://mirror.ninja/o4ni  Where's Adrian Peterson when you need him...?
I had no idea that Sapphire was transparent aluminium... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/JSmGjB-G6v8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Finally figured out that I was eligible to upgrade using Verizon Edge and I went with the 6 Plus. Strange pricing with this plan. I'm basically paying $25 more a month including financing the phone, insurance (actually saving here, its $5 cheaper than the Geek Squad insurance I have now), and 3 more gb of shared data. The data was $81 for 10 gb plus one additional gb for free and the line access went down from $40 to $25. I'm looking forward to that first bill to see what fees are hiding and waiting to pop out of nowhere. When ordering it said the phone is on backorder until mid November, but I'm thinking it'll be sooner. No? Also, when I try to check the order status it says the order number can't be found and to try later. Anyone else experience this?
I had a similar issue when I was trying to order the samsung 5s from the website. It was trying to force a change in the contract. I then used the chat to do it without issues. I would recommend that route.
you are not losing data or the plan..but the discount they gave you to try out the value plan. only way to keep the discount is if you go with next, or buy phone outright.
It's a really silly way to sell your products but I don't think that is Samsung's goal with running Apple attack ads. I think they want to develop Samsung loyalty and build a Samsung customer culture kinda like Apple did with it's "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC" ads.
Alright, I have my plus ordered and now I need you plebs to suggest some cases. The slimmer the better, but needs some sort of drop protection. please
I've been using the otterbox symmetry on my 6. Love it so far. Doesn't add the typical otterbox bulk, but still feels solid. They are making the same case for the +. Not sure if it is out yet. http://m.otterbox.com/Symmetry-Series-Case-for-iPhone-6-Plus/apl28-alp100,default,pd.html
I know the camera uses a sapphire lens. I thought I read somewhere they might use it on the watch, but I'm not sure. Which plan are you currently on? From what I was reading the only thing you lose if you're on the Mobile Share if you don't go Next is the 'discount' they are giving on the phone. I dropped it, but not because they wouldn't let me. Looking at the numbers it just wasn't paying off for me anymore. The fact that AT&T throttles anyway after 5gb made it worth even less to me.
