Here is a seemingly real world example: http://blog.chron.com/techblog/2014/09/bug-or-feature-iphone-6-plus-bends-easily/#26563101=0
Ok...good luck with that 6 plus users. I guess it still fits in the pocket. Not sure about jeans, though. Looser suit pants...I could see that. lol
There's an iOS 8 update out, but if you're in the new phones hold off on it some people are having trouble with cell service after updating.
iOS 8.0.1 Causing No Service, Touch ID Issues on iPhone 6/6 Plus, Apple Support Recommends iTunes Restore

I would call Apple for an answer on this issue. But hang on I can't. People don't want to hear that plastic is sometimes more durable than metal. Especially when it is soft, super thin aluminum.
on top of that, lot of people treat smartphones like kids toys. People these things are not cheap. They are probably in the top 10 most expensive things you buy in a year. women will treat their purses like it's a gift from god but then I see them just toss their smartphone around like it's a sponge. ugh
Given that the camera protrudes out the back of the phone, Apple would have been smart to present a slightly thicker phone...it would allow it to have a back that is flush, it would reinforce the strength of the phone, and it would also allow a larger batter. Instead...fail.
their quest to make the thinnest phones need to stop. there's other features people would love more. "my iphones are way too thick" - said no one ever.
Uh...that would mean an even thicker case... Do people really not buy cases for thousand dollar phones?
