THIS. I didn't mention it but, yes, don't start off being an asshat and demand stuff. I remember one time I got a very chill rep helping me out and he straight up told me "Hey, what I'm doing isn't exactly by the book but if I were in your shoes I would want a rep that can help me with my issues. And I'm sure my bosses would rather me do that than to lose another customer".
I got the confirmation email from AT&T while I was sleeping and it said shipping in 14-21 business days? WTF I ordered it at like 2:04 AM.
I got a call early this morning from my financial institution to verify the transaction. Verified with them and had no problems with the purchase. Sorry to hear BoA did you like that bruh
I was checking eligibility last night and I guess it couldn't process it so instead it gave me a 24 hour window to finish my order. It works out in my favor because I didn't know which one i was going to go with. This gives me today to go into the store and actually take a look at them in the store and go with a 6 or a 6+
Are you going with the Plus? I'm interested to know how many members on here are going with the Plus instead of the regular one.
They've never had any on display in the stores prior to launch day in the past. Is it different this year?
You could be right, I totally don't remember. If that's the case then I guess I have to decide today or i will just wait till the initial rush is over. I want to really feel it in my hands before I make the decision on what size I should buy. I don't wan to buy the + and decide it's too big for me.
I went with a Gold Plus 128 gig. I have big hands so I think it'll work out fine for me. I wish Apple had met us somewhere in the middle though. A 5" or 5.1" iPhone would have been perfect. They piss me off so much sometimes
In my opinion I'd go with the bigger one. If it ends up being too big at least you have that 15 day window to return it for a smaller one (at least that's the policy for ATT) I wonder if it was because a 5" screen would have cannibalized sales of the 5.5" that got Apple to go with the 4.7"
That may be because some other sites let you order early. I ordered 5 minutes early on AT&T, when the order process took a few minutes for me to complete. Someone else on here ordered 10 minutes early. There were probably a lot of folks who got them that way. On another note, I just noticed how much AT&T is charging for data. 1GB will run you $65? Those with unlimited plans should never switch.
I think in this instance they could have just had one phone, but they wanted to still cater to people that didn't want to have a huge phone and people who wanted a phablet. Won't be surprised in two years when the iPhone 7 is a 5" phone
Sorry, I meant compression formats. The 1080p .mkv blu ray rips are like on average 10-20G. I just use handbrake to get them back town to a manageable size and format I'm comfortable with.
Those prices are insane. I use about 15GB a month but I'm grandfathered into the unlimited plan with Verizon. I just have to buy the phone at full price, which is fine with me as I only buy a phone every 3 years or so. Still going strong with the S4.
No reason, just want to take advantage of this plan as much as possible. And also to piss off third world countries just for the hell of it.
