thanks. more fuel for the fire.

Kevin Garnett averages 23 ppg, 11.1 rpg, 4.5 apg, nearly 2 bpg. His style is a lot cooler than Mo's wouldn't you say? Hell, Othella had a style, he didn't pass. Scottie had a style he sucked. Mo has a style he isn't a strong rebounder. That's not his thing baby. It's not his style.

    Gimme a fetchin' break.

And Kevin has style, he has never won a playoff series and he has been in the league what 6 years? Now thats cool.

Kevin is the first option on his team he should score 23. If you look at Mo's 3rd year he was scoring 17 with a bad team compared to 18.5 for Kevin in his 3rd year.

Using you guys logic though, KG is like a 2nd year player since he didn't go to college.

Besides, KG led his team to the playoffs. He's the consummate team player. His 23 ppg is in conjunction w/ a well rounded game. Mo scored 17 ppg last year. Did he have a well rounded game?

Besides, haven't you seen those And1 commercials?

When Dream leaves there's going to be one hell of a hole in the middle. Mo's bad traits will be a little bit more obvious then. I wish him the best, but I don't wish him a huge contract since he doesn't fight for rebounds.

Maybe he's just a **ssy. Does he wear a mouthpiece? Maybe he'd fight for boards then. [IMG]

..."his style, and I have mine"

Sounds to me like he won't be working hard to improve his game.

..."those last 2 plays were for the panel of judges"

So now I am supposed to say Mo deserves mega-bucks, and is a great player because he had 2 good plays?

Mo was awfully quiet most of the season (maybe because he was playing bad?) Now he has 2 good games and he starts talking smack?

I hate that And1 Garnett commercial. How can the guy who nearly single handedly caused the lockout denounce greed? He is such a hypocrite.

I understand what you are saying about him and the megabucks. No one ever said he deserves it. But do you at least think he playing for at least the 2 million that the Rockets are paying him now? All I am saying is be reasonable about the guy. We knew what he could do before he got here an in my opinion it is what I expect and think what the rockets need.

Do you guys think we are a better team with or without him?

Can you please define what you think a good game for Mo is so we have something to go by. At the beginning of the season he might not have been as good due to trying to fit into the system. But from Dec and forward I think he has been consistent for the most part in a positive way.

Also he defense is better than what people say. During the game I focus on him and watch his footwork in staying in front of defender and his ability to take charges. I would be willing to bet he has taken the most for the Rockets. Thats defense. Sure he gets into foul trouble sometimes but his threat of offensive explosion keeps the other team honest as well. He is the best pure mid-range shooter on the Rockets team period.

Who ever knew rebounding was about "style"? lol

Mo hasn't even BEEN to the playoffs, much less won a playoff series.

Mo was the first option in LA, he only scored 17 points per game though and didn't make the playoffs. I don't know how you can compare Mo scoring 17 with a bad team and KG scoring 18.5 on playoff team. Doesn't that mean that KG would have scored 25 on a bad team? [IMG]
