According to the ESPN link above....

"For the Rockets, this trade was a salary dump and an effort to shore up a thin point-guard crop.

no we give them our first rounder, not the other way around. so we really didnt get the better end of the deal other than to cut cap space

Good trade all around. We got cap space out of it. New York got a good PF for nothing. MoT gets to play again. Moochie gets to make money from the comfort of his living room. Everybody's happy.

Total Salary DUMP for the ROX. Giving up our first rounder was a BADDDD idea though!

If Moochie plays a single minute.... sigh. Don't expect anything - and whoever is the first to say he played well for us before is full of crap.

And I was hoping I could finally put my sig to rest.

So who's gonna be available on the FA market (besides our players) when all these contracts come off the books after next year?

I love it...moochie is better than strickland, (that's not saying much), at least he can hit an outside shot and not get tired in 3 minutes, plus Vin Baker can get great weed for the rest of the team. Really...I was willing to give up anything to dump Mo and his big contract!!

There's no word yet if it was THIS YEAR'S first rounder, or a future one, or if there even is one at all (ESPN, after all, is the only one reporting this... and they have been dead wrong on their initial details of a lot of things lately).

I'll hold out all judgement till the official Houston press release comes out (per the chronicle).
