that is incorrect vin after next season so is mooch there is a team option if you want to keep mooch until 2007
According to the ESPN link above.... "For the Rockets, this trade was a salary dump and an effort to shore up a thin point-guard crop.
no we give them our first rounder, not the other way around. so we really didnt get the better end of the deal other than to cut cap space
Good trade all around. We got cap space out of it. New York got a good PF for nothing. MoT gets to play again. Moochie gets to make money from the comfort of his living room. Everybody's happy.
Somebody clarify this mess please, how does the "taking back cash" thing work, full salary details, what draft pick, the logic at this point...please!!!
If Moochie plays a single minute.... sigh. Don't expect anything - and whoever is the first to say he played well for us before is full of crap. And I was hoping I could finally put my sig to rest.
So who's gonna be available on the FA market (besides our players) when all these contracts come off the books after next year?
More Knicks...Anticlimactic to say the least. For the long haul,a good deal with the expiring contracts, but which Vin Baker do we get THIS year? They DO come off after THIS year, correct?
Why Moochie?!??! Spurs got Nazr Mohammed from the Knicks. I wish we got Mohammed. I cant stand that troll. *sigh*
NOOOO I DONT WANT Vin "BUY ME A DRINK" Baker on our team!!! Our team was full of nice guys that got along really well, and now we got him on our team...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I love it...moochie is better than strickland, (that's not saying much), at least he can hit an outside shot and not get tired in 3 minutes, plus Vin Baker can get great weed for the rest of the team. Really...I was willing to give up anything to dump Mo and his big contract!!
There's no word yet if it was THIS YEAR'S first rounder, or a future one, or if there even is one at all (ESPN, after all, is the only one reporting this... and they have been dead wrong on their initial details of a lot of things lately). I'll hold out all judgement till the official Houston press release comes out (per the chronicle).
