They have 72 hours to report (as we all know from the JJ trade) and all players have to pass physicals before anyone can play. So Sunday at 2 or 3 p.m. is 72 hours so I would imagine yes.

In the past, I said that CD should get the GM of the year award simply by being able to get rid of Moochie. Now we are getting Moochie back and I am saying that CD should get the GM of the year award. Wow, what a weird day.

We can all do without the "Vin Baker the Alcoholic" jokes. 2 or 3 was fine, but this is too much. Anyone who's had an alcoholic in his or her family knows what I'm talking about. How about a rest from the alcohol jokes, OK?

BTW- the Captain Morgan was pretty freaking funny, though.

This was a great trade for the Rockets. We now have 4 expiring contracts after next season. Can use that for a sign and trade or in free agency. Good job by CD. :D

Well, with Mo gone, we better hope Juwan doesn't get injured like we didn't want Sura to get injured.

Nah, they still hate Layden. Props to the guys on this board, when the erroneous initial report that we traded a 1st, guys wanted to take CD out to the shed because you guys knew that was a bad deal. Taking two guys that never play and adding a 1st for MoT, a good player who was in the wrong situation for a year of cap relief didn't make much sense. When the correct report came out, everybody had a collective sigh of relief and said "I knew CD couldn't be that stupid". Props to CD also, he had a good day.

Moochie lose that fade and grow back the Fro, thats why you ain't had game with the Knicks.

I agree with this. The admins need to clamp down on any AA jokes with regards to VB, the same as they would for any other insensitive subject matter. It's not funny.

well if he can still hit that mid-range jumper he could be useful in the playoffs if Howard gets in foul trouble or Padgett can't match up with the opposing PF.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Vin Baker get some playing time. I know he sucks right now, but he has potential if he gets his mind right. We will see.

When I first read this, I thought CD is back to crazy (if we had given up the first-rounder).

But after realizing that instead, we received two contracts which will expire at the end of next season, and a 2nd rounder from the Knicks, and that we got rid of Mo Taylor AND Gaines AND we gained MIKE JAMES, I have to say CD/JVG deserve an

    A

    for today.

    Excellent!

We will be very happy after the 2005/2006 season...we just have to hope that we will spend the cap space wisely...

    Cool.

TNT was just talking about GP.

They said Payton will not be a Hawk tomorow, and that there will be a buyout completed later this week.

They mentioned the Rockets as a potential new home for GP.
