    I know that MoT is pretty important to our team right now, but I kind of hope that the suspension is longer than the 5 game suspension for the first offense.

    Another part of me now hopes that Braggs and Cato step up big time and shut Mo out of the rotation for the rest of the season.

    4th...are we entering Roy Tarpley territory here? Are we talking a year? Is Mo's career in serious danger?

    This is Mo's second violation. I think its another 5 game suspension, didn't Lamar Odom get caught like 4 times and never got more than maybe 7 or 10 games.

    I got this from the NBA CBA

    see www.nbpa.com

    Judging from this, he must have had his 3rd offense last time and is on his 4th, though it looks like its only a 5 game suspension

    Point 1) I am entirely for the legalization of pot, and feel it's a ridiculous law.

    Point 2) If I sign a million dollar contract agreeing to not take pot, and do so repeatedly, I am:

    * selfish.
    * stupid.

    Thanks for the correction SamFisher. Does anyone remember the first or second time Mo was caught with weed? I just remember him being caught while missing the entire season two years ago and him saying it was a one-time mistake... guess not.

    I sais this all offseason, why in the h*ll did the Rockets NOT sign or trade for a PF? Thankfully we have Torraye Braggs, but I would have rathr have traded for another productive PF, especially with Griffin cting like an idiot. Now Mo joins the party. There should be an NBA rule where, if a player gets in trouble for drugs or violating the drug policy, that his contract can be terminated. The only way you can seriously get into trouble is if it's a major drug (crack, heroine, a designer drug).

    610 Reports that Carroll Dawson will address the media at the Toyota Center about this issue later today. This is Mo's 4th failed drug test according to 610.

    CD will give a conference later today to talk about the suspension. 610 agreed, by the way, that this would have been his fourth test fail or "failed to show up" since the first two don't count.

    This is really, really crappy.

    He won't get paid for the games he misses due to suspension.

    I think the Rockets are going to have to take a serious look at bringing in a PF/C now. No telling how long Taylor will be out for and are we really going to want to keep him around after that. Start up the Mobley for ____ trades MLC1MGC2ALC3.
