I don't think that Mo is just paying lip service as some of you suggest. Sure he didn't have the year that a lot people expected, but he did improve. Did everyone miss the part of the article that pointed out his numbers after the All-Star break? Mo wants to improve himself and the team. Why is it so hard to believe he is honest about that? And to hear him say, "It's up to me...." makes me think that the Rockets hav a winner on their hands. So much better than saying,"..it's time for Carlos to step up now."
I don't want to hope too much, but I think that Mo will be a good piece to this team. There were some games where he showed he could do it like the 3rd game against minnesota. Also as the year went on he improved and started to gel with this team. As far as his comments go, I think it's better to say that than to say something like Cato and try to put the load elsewhere. I'm sure he realizes the investment the team made in him and will work for it unlike the 7 foot wonder.
I wonder if The Cat is still accepting Mo members for that Mo Tayor fan club of his? I think I'd like to join now.
