Are you serious, Taylor can't catch a break.

Well it seems to me he caught a heck of a break when he signed for his 48 million dollar contract; guaranteed!!!!!

What more breaks does a guy need, except a broken bone to stay home and spend that money.

ummm...maybe, heaven forbid, he just really wants to play. maybe he wants to finally make the playoffs. maybe its self-respect, pride. just maybe, it's more than just the money.

cato at four...yes, quite intriguing. with meech, we have this flexibility we didn't have before (please don't say collier). at least this seems to indicate (from the mouth of jvg himself) that cato isn't going anywhere soon.

damn peter cornell. he probably won't be around in a few weeks, but he already has changed the picture for us...

please mo, get better. i can't believe this sh$t. i don't care if this gives eddie an opportunity to shine...we need mo! plus, even if he does come back, he's missing out on a critical time to learn (and practice) the new system and assimilate with the new team and strategy. once again, he's gonna be behind playing catch up. we need good news!

I like the idea of Yao Ming and Cato on the floor at the same time. I think we'd be in the top 3 in blocked shots as a team.

cato is best when he plays shortened minutes. if we need im for 24-36 minutes per game his #'s will go down.

12-18 MPG is best for him. so starting him at the 4 to me is not going to work as well as having griff there.

How come this news does not surprise me in the least? Yet another wasted contract given out by the Rockets. Anyone here remember Rudy White?

Ugh. I feel bad for Mo because it seems like he busted his hump to get ready for this season. Hopefully, he'll recover quickly and have a great year.

Channel 2 reported tonight that there was no structural damage in the shoulder and that he is out a MAXIMUM of 2 to 3 weeks. He could be back in less than that depending on rehab.

That's good to hear. I was getting pretty worried. Especially when I saw we may have to suit up Ewing or Dikembe. :D

great news. i wasn't even thinking about mo until media day when it was obvious the guy busted his ass working over the summer. 2-3 weeks is not enough time for him to get fat again, so i still think this will be a big year. :)

You have no idea how happy this makes me! I hated the idea of starting the season with one of our key guys injured. I can rest easy now, thanks!

It's like were brothers or sumthin cuz I had the same Mutombo thing swirling in my head, but I wonder if he will settle for the veteran exception.

He should because he has just stolen 30 million dollars from the Nets.

I hope we can make the move, cuz you can never have enough Centers.

Well that's all good, but we were number two last season in the blocks per game catagory.:)

I'm relieved to hear that he will back quickly. He will have to start slowly off the bench in the beginning.I hope and pray that there won't be any more injuries anymore.
I think we should be looking at using the 6.5 million exception to further improve the PF spot but I don't recommend going for old players like Antonio Davis.
