I don't think that Taylor is tradeable, even though we may be starting him, to showcase him, and get his numbers up. But, I do believe we could trade Howard, especially to CHI. I'd love a Howard/Gaines for Chandler/Duhon. I'd even through in a draft choice, if necessary. CHI pursued Howard before Orlando got him, and he'd give stability for them at the 4. I'd still start Taylor and let Chandler take time to develop. He'd add a lot of depth, since he could play 4 positions. I'd start Duhon right off the bat.
chandler would be ideal if he could hit an open mid range shot. he would greatly help our rebounding so of course i would be willing to trade anyone outside of yao and mac.
working hard not to start another thread, BUT, in comparing JH stats this year with Weatherspoon's of last year, it seems like we improve a lot of things at PF by giving CW more or all of JH's minutes - FG%, FTA per FGA's - CW gets more freethrows. Rebounds go up. OFF RB go up a bit. PF and TO go down. All of the things hurting us in our PF stats right now. The only reason it seems JH is not sitting instead of CW is we are shopping him. ??? Anyone else know any reasons CW is stuck on the pine when we are having so much trouble at the PF spot and with RB's overall?
how long can we go on giving howard and padgett minutes when spoon could be helping us. i know if howard was out of the rotation there would be no way in hell we could get rid of him before his contract ends in 4 years, but i would rather eat his contract and win then let him play and lose.
