MoT is useless. Kenny is useless. But as long as they are both Rockets, They are some of the best PFs in the game
Aight fellas. Who cares who is mopping up who in summer "practices." It seems pretty obvious that, if not from the beginning, MoT will be starting for us, although KT did prove his worth last year. On top of that, pretty clear that EG will get the bulk of back-up minutes until he is ready to start and DOMINATE the league. KT was pertty good on a really bad team, his contract is up soon, does anyone really think he will get any kind of extension when we have MoT and EG? Am I missing something here? Peace out!
No. That is not true. Mo is perfectly fine starter. I've never bashed Maurice. That is not true. In fact, I am the first person on this board who suggested keeping all there PFs. I believe that to my core. I believe Mo and Kenny bring different thinks and I believe they both are versatile enought to log SF minutes so we only need Boki, after Rice retires. I have been consistent with that idea for over 1 yr. You are wrong in saying that I have EVER bashed Maurice Taylor. On the contrary, I am the biggest advocate of Kenny and his #1 fan. That DOES NOT mean I don't like Maurice. What Jeff is doing is totally different. He has been a huge advocate of saying Kenny is not right for the team, must be trading, and is being Mopped by Maurice. There is no chance in hell Maurice is mopping Kenny. SAR did not do it; Malone did not do it; name me another perimeter power type PF to compare to Maurice. I am just calling out a comment that has been floating since July 1st. It is just not right, and I will stake my bball coaching and scouting abilities on it. bet me ... hehe (OK, i'm over-doing the "bet me" part, but I think betting is often good natured ways of stopping on-going debates *2 months now* and like it.)
I just did some checking on the guys you listed. Against Houston, SAR had I think 28 and 16. His avg was about 21, so he probably did average against KT, especially since the 28 game was the opener. Karl Malone had 30,31,21,23. His avg was about 22. KT got 18 in his best game of the 6. (against Malone's 23, I believe.) You could consider these moppings, IMO.

Well, I'm not throwing any fuel on the fire, I just believe in seeing it before believing it no matter who post it on bbs board. The saying is believe half of what you see and none of what you hear. In a nutshell, I'd rather wait and see, because I don't believe Taylor is mopping anything or anyone up personally. I remember last yr when it was rumored Collier added 25lbs of muscle, but we see what happened. Taylor said before he signed the 1 yr contract that he was going to prove he could rebound and be a factor in the west and we saw the same soft Taylor. It was rumored Cato was at big mans camp or ready to play hard and we saw how he played last yr and probably will play this yr. It was also rumored Kenny Thomas had lost weight and was ready to play, and what happens? He shows up in great shape and had a very good season. Where am I going with this? We'll see come training camp about the revival of Glen Rice and Taylor and whatever accusations that are made in August about players. Personally, some of the retoric gets old and we will just have to wait and see. Seeing is believing, so when i see it, I will believe it.
I have not been posting here in a long time,but I had to say something about this.(I respect heypee as someone with basketball mind). First you are comparing apples and oranges(get it?),these are two completely different players and you can not compare them. Eachone of these players serves a different purpose for our team(MO is a great mid-range shooter and creats alot of space for our gaurds,but KT is more of a inside player and his foot work is better then any PF in our league).Rudy uses each one of these playes depending on machups. With that said,Mo might sweep KT off the floor in a outside game but inside he has no chance and it is the same the other way around. They are both great at what they do,and when heypee says "clueless"I think he is trying to say you can not compare........... You All Made me come out and say something! PS:Have no doubt and don't believe Yao,SF,and cato bashers!!This is going to be a very FUN year!!!!!
Maybe with Mo getting large enough to play some center and KT slimming down for some SF minutes, Mo's just too much for KT right now. Maybe it was a combination of Mo wanting to prove something and KT not caring because its just an off-season workout. Maybe someguy is talking Mo up to Jeff in a plot to discredit and embarrass him. Maybe hp is so convinced that Mo could never dominate KT that nothing short of video proof would stop him from labeling anyone who dared say so a heretic and a liar. Maybe it's not even training camp and maybe, maybe no.
Heypee cant argue with what RC Cola posted, see because those are the real facts...numbers to prove he is WRONG! But here comes the slew of excuses for those numbers. He will come up with something he considers witty or basketball smart as reasoning behind those numbers, but all in all Crispee is still wrong. Heypee likes to claim Jeff has an agenda in defending Mo T and dogging Kenny...but yet let someone speak badly of Mobley once and let the hypocracy fly. You want someone to bet you? And how exactly do you expect to win/lose this bet? Think those two are going to go at it one on one just for you...I guess if you believe the Rox would give you their plays then youd believe those two would play a game just for you. On how many levels can you be annoying as hell?
Gosh, I have people talking trash for me. I would like to see a reply from Heypartner about my post. I waited a little bit yesterday, since he usually has some edits in his posts. But now I want to see what he thinks. I get out of school at 12:45 I think, so hopefully you would have responded then. BTW, I'm not bashing KT. He stepped in and did OK, even though he wasn't even supposed to start. But I prefer to have him as a backup, since I believe Mo fits the O better with his shooting. JMO.
