    and heypartner is nique..
i only say that because bird got alot more love in his career than wilkins.. but they were both good players...and thats true of their bbs carreers...who knows who will win...

I think its reasonable for Jeff to NOT quote his sources by name. He is right that he would be unlikely to get more info if he did. However, Jeff, Heypartner seems to make some time distinction (as in 'how could this be true because of the timing'). Could you explain how your point about Mo is true in light of Heyp's original challenge? That wouldn't require you to reveal your source, just to elaborate on an apparent time discrepancy.

Yeah Heypee has those quick whirling Nique'ish power slams and Jeff is more of a kill you with silence and fundamentals Larry Legend type. It might just boil down to the supporting cast. What a matchup. :(

As far as I am concerned this has nothing to do with sources. Jeff cannot see beyond MoT. There are endless instances, prior to this revelation, that Jeff favours MoT and does not favour KT. I remember I called MoT a punk for smoking and letting his weight balloon, right after the team gave him a generous contract. Boy the intense passion that came from Jeff was amazing. He questioned various things about me including my knowledge of nutrition and weight management systems. He came close to justifying the use of weed; certainly did not adequately reject it. He said I had a bad attitude.

It can only be wishful thinking for someone to believe that MoT can be eating up KT. It says something about how you feel about MoT and how you feel about KT. Jeff, KT is too fast for MoT. You should know that and employ the strongest self restraint not to repeat ridiculous insider info. You must have pissed your pants the other day when you read ESPN's Rockets fixer upper, when they implied that KT was more wanted by the team than MoT. In fact it is quite possible that all of the Rockets interest in Lewis was based on their thought that it would be a way to move MoT.

Fellas...have a cream soda and relax. What's all the hostility? Look, I DESPISE Mo as much or more than anyone on here but I think Jeff's point was not to trash KT, but to let everyone know that Mo was playing well.

Now, as baffling as it is to think that Mo could mop anything with anyone, I hope its true. Unless EG is going to be our 4 for the entire season, MO better start bringing his janitorial expertise to the court this year.

mo is a btte rplayer, personally i think KT did jack **** for us last year. He was a selfish, borke shot dumb predictable player. Yeah mo is soft and doesn't rebound that stuff is easy to change if you have the right attitude. And he has that. mo t changes the game so much cause his abiltiy to handle the ball shot and drive past opponents due to his great crossovers.

Stevie Francis - KT was probably the most consistant player on the team last year. He certainly was the most improved player on the team and that includes Griffen.

    HeyP and Jeff
Chill man. We are all Rocket fans and we all hear things and have opinions about our team and their players. Y'all are the rock that holds the BBS together and I can't stand to see the senseless bickering over something that is about summer time pickup ball. Come on guys, let's keep the quality of this great forum up as the standard it has been for years to be used as the example by other boards.

In the immortal words, Don't sweat the petty stuff, pet the sweaty stuff. OT

I usually only read posts but when someone is knockin on Cuttino or people are talking out of their arse, i have to respond. Tell me one time when Jeff has been wrong? He is one of the posters whose posts I love to read because he is very sensible in his statements. Jeff I believe every word you say and I will never doubt you because of 2 reasons: You have never lied to us before and why the hell would you care if mo t is wiping the floor w/ kt? You are just stating what the sources tell you. Jeff keep the info coming like this b/c there are some ignoramas out there. Whatever comes out of your mouth Jeff is AS GOOD AS GOLD. :D

You guys are idiots to doubt Jeff's sources with all this grandstanding. I have no problem with being incredulous at the claim, but to doubt the authenticity is insulting and crass. If you only knew.

I'm excited to know that Mo is looking good. I have never questioned his talent, just his intensity.

We know that KT is a warrior and that bodes well for our team depth.

Jeff, please don't let the histrionics detour you from posting similar info in the future. Thanks.

All I know, is that I've seen Mo playing at Westside before he was cleared on July 1st...

I don't know about him dominating Kenny, but one-on-one he very well could have been. You don't think Karl Malone could also? In live games it IS completely different, but that doesn't mean you completely discredit what happens in work-outs.
Who do you think is starting after 5 game supension is over?
    I'd bet MoT.

Considering that Mo has about 40lbs on KT, it isn't entirely implausable that he could have his way w/ KT down low at least.

I HAVE NO PROBLEM BELIEVING MO T IS DOMINATING KT , IF, MO T IS PRETTY CLOSE OR IN GAME SHAPE. I BELIEVE HE WILL PROBABLY START EVERY GAME THIS SEASON( EXCEPT FOR THE 1ST 5) AND GRIFFIN WILL BE COMING OF THE BENCH , UNTIL NEXT SEASON WHEN GRIFFIN WILL BE 21 AND THAT MUCH BETTER AND THAT MUCH MORE EXPIRIENCE.

I can't believe I have missed all of this.

First, how can anyone be referred to as clueless for passing on info that he acquired from more than one TRUSTED source? That's ludicrous. You are basically calling him out as a liar.

Second, after calling someone clueless and implying that someone and/or his sources are full of it, to then cry foul when said person retaliates. HeyP, you do this way too much.

    ex.-

Heyp: you suck and are stupid

    innocent poster: FU, heyp.

Heyp: hey, don't get all defensive just b/c I dispute what you say. I just want to have a civil conversation about why you suck and are stupid.

That's pretty much how those things go.

Third, Jeff is one man without an agenda. The same can't be said for some others on this BBS.

Judging basketball practices? Yeah, why would these guys go at it? Hmmm, one has an extension he is trying to earn and the other has a starting spot to win back. What's to judge?

Comparison of MoT and KT has been done to death here. I don't see any more reason to get hot on this topic.

HP is the kind of guy who has to win. I wish his attitude would rub off to guys like Cato on the court. But just leave it on the court.;)

I know I'll get creamed by him. Just couldn't resist it.
