Was that really necessary? Why are you guys all so aggressive towards LeGrouper? Whatever happened, Mo had to sit out 6 games and, by his apology, he admitted that in some way, shape or form, it must at least partly have been his fault. Let's just hope he will do well for the Rockets now and let's get back to focusing on cheering for our team instead of pointing fingers and saying "I told you so"...please.
I'm no coward. I said if it wasn't weed I wouldn't post here anymore. I haven't seen anything that supports Feigen's hypothesis anywhere else. But I will take you word on. It's been real. Good luck Rockets.
yes, it was necessary. you know why? because on the first page, i said that those who so eagerly jumped on motay saying that it was definitely weed and he was an idiot, etc., etc. would be to cowardly to just come in here and admit they were wrong. lo and behold, here's LeGrouper (who, by in large is a good poster) refusing to admit he was wrong. he's still holding to the ridiculous belief (that has already been disputed by feigan in the chronicle) that it was weed. this is not about me saying "i told you so". this is about someone not being able to admit when they were wrong...especially after so vehemently asserting their allegations and conclusions. dispicable, if you ask me.
as i said, you are a good poster, by in large...and the community benefits from your presence. therefore, i have no desire to see you exile yourself. a simple "i was wrong" would do. no need for the histrionics.
Oh, and may I take this opportunity to ask of you big mouths who like to take pot shots to please actually make a donation to the site where you spend so much time posting things like LeGrouper = coward I originally liked this place because people acted like adults. Batman wouldn't take me bet originally. Now he wants to rub stuff in my face, stuff that isn't even proven. And all his little D&D buddies come to his aid. Fine. I can't put up with this kiddie crap anyway. But at least have the nuts to go and make a donation to this place you have taken over. Thanks for the memories Clutch.
since when did you gain access to the account?? you know who has and has not donated? wow. i'm impressed. more histrionics. i'll say it again. a simple "i was wrong" would suffice.
Well, i'll admit i was wrong in banning him from my Rocket hart...if the league reduced the suspension then i guess it must not have been that bad...guess i just ASSuMEd too quickly... BTW, that rule that says nobody can talk about what happened sucks...
Grouper, is this really necessary? I echo verse's assertion that by and large you have been a good poster, and imo this is beneath you. I dont believe in rubbing peoples faces in it when they are wrong, but for you to be so vehement in your denail is certainly not being adult about it. if you read Jeff's post back on the second page, he says everything he has heard says it was not weed...and if you remember, Jeff does have access to other sources within the organization that we dont. So you dont just have to take Feigen's word for it, how bout taking Jeff's? Just admit you were wrong, and lets drop all the drama and move on with our lives. btw...I HAVE donatednumerous times over the years...more so recently...besides also being a big supporter of both pledge drives, so dont go throwing that at me.
Good god, this is amazing. Legrouper, you're an excellent poster and you do not deserve all this misdirected crap, people bringing bile from other parts of their lives to then label you all sorts of things. To what end? He had a strong take folks, and it's very possible that he was wrong, but so what? That's pretty obvious, and I don't see why it would be fun for y'all to see him hang his head in cyber-shame and say "d'oh!" on a BBS. I don't understand the fun in piling on. Give it a rest, celebrate for freaking MoTay and pass the ammunition. God knows if they keep shooting bricks, we'll need all the ammo we can get.
Totally agree. I could see doing this stuff in D&D- calling people out, saying they are cowards, getting outraged at their opinion. But not here. Just get over it if someone disagrees!
weed may not have been the thing that triggered the positive result, but i bet he still smokes and knows how to mask the results like everyone else. so what's the big deal?
call me crazy....or even a republican...but i believe in culpability. if a person does something, take responsibility for it. if a person makes a false assertion, at least say "i was wrong". there's no "cyber shame" in that! in fact, i think it's quite admirable for a man to admit to his fault(s). it shows a level of self-awareness, humility and honor. refusing to do so shows a lack of all three.
Dear T_J II (), I don't honestly think the BBS can confirm the presence or lack of the important qualities you list. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I'd want to know LeG in person before I said refusing to post "mea culpa" on a BBS meant he was so very flawed. Just my take.
