he goes to a new team, and they win a title within 2 years... before and after his arrival, they ain’t sh*t

people can say whatever they want...4 titles, and could be a 5th next season

they failed to make the playoffs in a year he only played in 55 games

they add a top 5 player who had done nothing before joining Lebron...Lakers had a +8.5 net rating with Bron on the court this year, and it dropped all the way down to -1.9 with him off...that was with AD on the roster...it was even worse with Kyrie and Love back in Cleveland

In your hypo, I would agree that player B had the better career. Thirteen finals appearances is impressive, but I would use that as tie-breaker rather than as a determining factor. Second place is just the first loser. Whether they lost in the first round or Finals is still a loss.

Look at the situations of those teams you mentioned. LeBron joined a Miami Heat team with prime Wade and Bosh. When he left, Wade and Bosh were on the decline. If you want to discuss injuries, Wade and Bosh played in only 62 and 44 games respectively the year LeBron left.

When he left Cleveland, it was even worse. Kyrie was no longer there and Love played in only 22 games. Cleveland's top players that year were Jordan Clarkson and Collin Sexton lol. Neither of those teams were contenders.

The Lakers were a borderline playoff team before Lebron's injury. They traded some good assets for a top 5 player entering his prime.

To add, the bulls went to the conference finals without MJ

you’re only bringing up what those teams were after he left

How come I see no mention of what they were before he got there?

Borderline playoff team? No. They were the 4th seed and starting to surge. The game he got injured in they blew GS off the floor at Oracle.

Again, a top 5 player who hadn’t done sh*t before joining Lebron. A top 5 player who was always in the lottery before Lebron. 1st year with Lebron, he’s a champion.

... in 2011. Thirteen years after he retired. The Bulls in second round to the Knicks in '94.

What did Bosh, Kyrie and Love do before LeBron?

the only finals loss that was truly bad for Lebron was 2011...maybe u can throw 2014 in there just because the Spurs beat them down so badly

To your point, would it really have been better for Lebron not to make the finals in 2007 so he wouldn’t get that automatic L to the Spurs or 2018 so he wouldn’t get that auto L to GS? In 2017 GS was just too stacked, and in 2015, I believe he would’ve won if Kyrie didn’t get injured.

honestly, Lebron’s 2016 title is more impressive than any title MJ ever won, but MJ is 6-0 in the finals which seems to be too hard to beat...MJ is lucky he never had to face the Rockets

Name a single star that won alone. Even stars that won alone had great, great super role players around them.

Fact of the matter is Lebron hasn't done it without Allstar help(Wade/Bosh/ & Irving/Love). Could he ever do it like Jordan? Guess we will never know. Every team built around him since he left Cleveland the first time he has had 1 or 2 all stars with him at all times. How is that even in dispute? I'm not saying he shouldn't get help because he is super good, I'm saying he has literally hand picked allstar teammates. Only did he go back to Cleveland once they had Irving. He probably would have been a Laker sooner otherwise.

Game 7 2016 Finals Cleveland should really be thanking Irving. Yes, Lebron got them there but Irving stepped up when Lebron was looking gassed and lost. Also he wasn't shooting as good as he does now. Give credit where it is due.

Lebron had the block and had scored the team’s last 8 points before that 3 from Kyrie

Why is he showing Kobe in the picture? May as well swap Pippen for Jordan for consistency if that's the case.

Sure they were. You just didn't know about it because there was no social media. Here is an example.

Magic tried to get Aguirre to LA after they played against each other in the WCF's. Zeke got him in Detroit. Magic and Zeke were actually kissing each other before the Finals.

What team did Jordan win with that didn't have all star help? Surely you aren't talking about the team that almost went to the conf finals without him, with Pippen on it?

Thank Kyrie, as opposed to the player that led every player (both teams) in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. Interesting.
