Who cares about the outcome of the game? I had my best finish in QB1 in years, finishing second. Had the game lasted about three plays longer, I would've won.
I have to agree with DD and if Philly is one-dimensional then what the hell is Tampa Bay? Do they have ANYONE on offense who can be considered a playmaker, where you consistently plan the game around them? How exactly is Philly overrated? Philly was just not coached right. They kept on trying to pass even in 3rd and 1 or 3rd and 2 situations. McNabb didn't run the ball once in the first half and when he did in the second half he did pretty well. The OL of the Eagles played a horrible game. I'm not trying to make excuses for Philadelphia even though they are my favorite team because the better team did win last night but to say that the Eagles are overrated and one-dimensional is wrong.
I agree that last nights game was the Boring Bowl. I had a couple of friends over and we kept talking about how horrible this game was. Tampa Bay is a really good team and the Eagles didnt have a chance. I also agree that Dallas vs NY is a horrible MNF game. I think that Indy plays Tennessee next week and I would much rather watch that for MNF. PS John Madden is absolutely horrible. I cannot stand to listen to this guy bumble on and on. I swear, that there was one time where he talked for 3 minutes and didnt complete a single sentence.
they were absolutely one-dimensional on offense last night...that's what i meant. not that they were a defense-only team...but they have really one guy to stop on offense...do it, and you win. i would take tampa's offensive weapons over philly's anytime...particularly now with injuries in the philly receiver corps. i personally think philly is overrated..i don't think they're a super bowl team...i may be wrong...time will tell.
How do you explain them winning every game he was injured in last year then? If you can stop McNabb and win then if he is injured then you should surely win too, right? They were just poorly coached last night and the OL did a terrible job. Many people didn't think Tampa Bay was Super Bowl quality with a stellar defense and a so-so offense but they proved people wrong. Like you said time will tell.
